The girls who work the Starbucks counter are absolutely worthless. Alyssa won’t even make eye contact and is so busy standing around or chatting to help shorten the line. She is very rude and seems irritated. Last time I ordered a mocha w/o whipped cream, there was aprox. 2″ of space left. Should’ve just charged me for a tall if you’re going to stiff me. Or learn to compensate and make more coffee for the room that would’ve been used for whip.

Probably wouldn’t have found this store without Unilocal. Staying in town for a few days and need a few grocery items that were reasonable priced so we can her and found almost everything we needed on sale. Pleasant surprise after being overcharge in this touristy area. Nice clean store with good selection. Fresh produce area is nice looking and invites you to pick out something fresh. We come to this area several times a year so we were glad to find such a nice store close to where we stay.

This Safeway, located in NE Flagstaff, is a very friendly, well– stocked store. The vegetables and fruits are very fresh looking and several different varieties of each one are offered. The prices in the fruit, dairy vegetable, meat and frozen food sections are very comparable with other grocery stores. We found the items in the hand and body lotion section were a bit pricey. Our checker, Ivan, was very helpful, friendly and efficient. He told us «Thank You» and wished us a ‘Good Day’! We need more young people in our world like Ivan ! Thank You Ivan.

The Starbucks here charges for decaf, and seems to be staffed with people who are extras from the movie«idiocracy».

The Starbucks here is run by people who are slow and need proper training. 80¢ more for decaf? Seriously?

Don’t go here if you don’t have a Safeway Club account. Prices are marked up to give a perceived discount when you use the club card. Since a lot of people in Flagstaff are tourists, the chains are doing away with the differential pricing for club members only. Basha’s is a chain here that does not penalize you for not having«the card.»

When we are staying in Flagstaff, AZ… we are regulars at this Safeway. They are the closest grocery store to our timeshare. Makes this Safeway very convenient for us. The store has many amenities, and it is clean, spacious, and organized well. There is a pharmacy here. Starbucks is also here, and there is a nice seating area. They have Redbox! They even sell gasoline here. The gas prices are one of the lowest in town. Their gas station is located in the lot next door to the grocery store. Prices for the grocery store are kind of high that is why we do not shop at their sister store in my hometown. Oh well, this Safeway will do for us when we are in Flagstaff. At least they accept our Vons card so we can partake of the discounts.

The prices and selection are fine, but the layout drives me insane. The three safe ways in town all have different setups, so if you have one of them memorized, be prepared to memorize the other two! I hate wasting time in a grocery store of all places, so to have memorize three different layouts from the same company is really weird and irritating. Outside of that, this store has the best Starbucks of the three Safeways in Flagstaff, which makes those trips to Page to visit family that much more enjoyable!

This Safeway has gone down hill big time. Staff is rude and act like zombies, no emotion at all. The produce goes bad within a couple of days. I am not sure how much experience you need to run a register but the people who work it need help big time.

I only shop at this Safeway when I need one or two things quickly and I’m at home because it is so close. If I’m already out, I’ll make the drive to Frys or another Safeway. I have not had any notable unpleasantness from employees and when I do have to interact with one, they’ve always been nice. But the prices are over-inflated and I no longer like buying produce there. It is not very good to begin with and goes bad almost as soon as you get it home, and sometimes it will be on the shelf moldy. After uncovering white mold on some tomatoes during my last shopping experience, I told the nearest employee stocking produce. He wasn’t rude but he wasn’t happy to hear it, I could tell. He did not however, take it out on me. He sighed and graciously thanked me for letting him know. It’s far from being my favorite grocery store, but for now, it’ll do.

This location was right next to a thrift store we were shopping at and also has a gas station. We filled up a tank of gas and bought some bottles of water and snacks for the trip back to Scottsdale. It’s very convenient and the gas prices were competitive. They also sell Watermelons and other large items out in the open between the gas lanes… that’s a first for me. I guess it makes sense though, grab and go… only with bigger products. Return Factor — 60%

«Attention Safeway shoppers! We found a dog in the parking lot. It’s a Siberian Husky with a red collar. If this is your dog please make your way to the store manager’s office to retrieve your pet.» — HOWAWESOMEISSAFEWAYINFLAGSTAFF! That just warmed my heart to know they are dog lovers. So awesome! I was in the area once again and stopped off to pick up some wine and breakfast items for the morning and had a pleasant experience.

The Starbucks staff in this Safeway needs to bus their tables and seats more often. At 11am on a Sunday every table had crumbs or food on it, making it not an inviting atmosphere.

I have lived on the east side of flag for a year now and this has been my primary grocery store. On countless occasions this store has sold packages that were open, produce that was moldy, and had rude staff on top of it. Coincidence aside I will no longer shop at this store, the other Safeways in town — sure, but I would stay away from this one.
