I love visiting this shop whenever I’m in Flagstaff. They have an amazing selection from cinnamon & cloves to lavender & lemongrass there’s something for everyone.
I had been browsing their website a few days ago intending to place an order when my boyfriend suggested going to Flagstaff for the weekend. Their website says «follow your nose» and that’s how we find the place every time. You can smell it a half block away! It’s a little shop with their soaps displayed on tables. All are handmade. In addition to soap they also have bath bombs, lip balm & natural deodorant but I’ve only bought and used the soap. Their soaps smell great, have a great lather and are natural.
The staff are friendly & helpful. They also have smaller travel sizes so you can sample a few different soaps or take them with you on your trip. They also have unscented soap if you need your soap scent free.

Love love love boutique/​artisan/​craft shopping in a new town. I’m a sucker for downtown shopping. I picked up a sample of what I thought was the best of the best. I haven’t used the soap yet but the salve is beautiful. The salve lasted through a Bikram yoga session this afternoon. 5 stars for service, selection and plenty of stock.

This store is super cute! We got some soap samplers as gifts, plus a Tea Tree and Castilla bar. Everything smells so good and makes your skin feel fresh! Obviously, it smells awesome when you step in.
If you’re a dog lover you’ll be glad to see the owner’s cute pup. The owners were really nice. She even offered to wrap the samplers since we mentioned they’re gifts, free of charge.
I don’t live in Flagstaff, so I won’t be able to visit frequently. However, I plan on making orders online for these bars.

Love this place and love products! I am very picky about what smells and what products I will use. I tried their deodorant and am now a lifer. It not only smells good but actually works. And is natural. Got my friend hooked now too so I typically buy one of each at a time so I don’t run out. Love their soaps and the bath bombs too… The rewards program let’s me feel less guilty buying things I don’t «need» but want as a treat (bath bombs)… This place is great. Highly recommend shopping here and supporting local.

My daughter told me about Flagstaff Soap when she was there for a weekend last year. She said that I would like it. She was right! The little store is charming and I had fun smelling all the wonderful fragrances of the soaps. I appreciate the carefully selected ingredients that goes into each bar. I bought a couple of bars to take home and I have now ordered soaps for gifts and for myself and my husband using their online store. The soaps do not disappoint. They are natural, creamy, and pleasantly scented.

Every time I’m in Flagstaff I like to stop in and pick up a bar of lavender soap. The fragrance is wonderful and the soap pure. This shop smells so wonderful and you can smell it from a block away! I have been shopping here first opened. Theses soaps make wonderful gifts and the employees will wrap them up nicely for a gift if you like.

This place is simply the best! These are by far the best soaps I have ever used. The bf surprised me by driving up for the day because I had ran out of my fave soaps. Yes I know you can order online but the experience to smell the soaps in store is what makes this place so nostalgic. You have to stop here when up in Flag because it reminds me so much of the vibe and nature that Flagstaff offers. The boutique store is cute and smells amazing, you almost cant miss it because the aroma fills San Francisco St. I have very sensitive skin and they are probably the only soaps that I can use. I have purchased soaps from many vendors and places over the years but by far Flag soap is the best. I love the sampler packs, as I get to try them all, but my favorite are the Lavender Mint and Teatree oil. I give them to friends and family as gifts as the wrapping & packaging is beautiful for gift giving. Love their customer service and attention to detail, wish we had one in Phoenix but the drive up is always worth it.

We visited this shop during Memorial Day Weekend. I had read reviews before we went and noticed the owners dog, Luna was the greeter. I am a big animal lover and was a bit bummed she was not there to greet us when we came in that Saturday. I am not sure if the girl behind the register was the owner or not… she was not rude, but not really friendly either. She stood at the register why we looked around, and never asked us if we needed help with anything. This store is super cute and I love how it was setup. It smelled absolutely incredible. We ended up purchasing 5 bars of soap. Please be advised, the bags are not free if you want one to put your soaps in. There is a sign by the front register, which I did not see until after I paid and looked at my receipt. All in all, this was an A-​OK experience.

I absolutely love this place. On a warm summer day you can smell all the amazing soaps along San Francisco St., which is what first drew me in. The soap selection is diverse and seasonal; if there’s something specific ask about it since they always have soaps in the works. They have so many different products you can take care of several of your daily needs in one visit. I know when I buy anything from soap to essential oil spray I am not bringing home harmful chemicals. My favorite is their deodorant, which is aluminum-​free and actually works! Seriously. The people are also helpful, friendly, and informative. How can you not love a store with a pup there to greet you! I most definitely recommend locals and visitors stop by.

I was pretty harsh on the FSC back in September. In fact, its a groovy little shop that makes and sells a very groovy product. Alisha and Justin are very sustainable, pro-​animal rights soapmakers and their products support those beliefs. Plus, their stuff smells great! Once you try a hand-​crafted, full-​glycerin soap, you will never buy anything else. Give them a shot.

I can’t believe I haven’t written a review!
I’ve been using their soaps for a couple of years now. I discovered them when I was in town for a family reunion. The shop was super cute and I remember buying myself some soap and some dog bone shaped soap for the person who watched our dog while we were gone. The gift soap was well received and I absolutely fell in love with my soap.
I have sensitive skin, and none of their soap has been irritating. It makes nice rich lather. None of the scents have been over the top, I’ve enjoyed them all
Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to receive their products for Christmas. The soaps are always nicely packaged and I also like their lip balm.

Products are all natural and work wonderfully. I especially love the laundry detergent – ingredients are safe and effective and it comes unscented or scented with essential oils – and the deodorant.

The Flagstaff Soap Company is a MUST for anyone visiting or living in Flagstaff. We live in Phoenix but travel to Flagstaff for weekend getaways as often as we can. We discovered them on one of our visits to Flagstaff and thought we would give them a try — since that day we have been faithful patrons and use nothing but their soap.
The store smells incredible — it draws you in with the wonderful scents that float down the street from their shop. You walk in and are instantly greeted with a warm welcome and a big smile. You can’t believe how fantastic it smells in the shop as you look at all of the different products they offer.
We have tried several different soaps from them and each one has been awesome. They lather nicely, leave your skin feeling soft and clean. We use their soap exclusively and don’t buy any bath soap from the store anymore. Their soap is so pure… it just feels amazing — I love it.
I also love their lip balm — I’ve never tried anything else that works like their balm does — it cures your chapped, dry lips like nobody’s business!
If you haven’t visited or tried the Flagstaff Soap Company — you’re really missing out. They are a gem!!!

During my last year of school at NAU, I went on a crazy search for local products to take home. Like a typical Asian tourist, I left with a suitcase full of goodies.
I made multiple weekly trips to downtown Flag and always passed by this place and would inhale the wonderful scents that flowed through the door. On a day without time constraints I finally had a chance to stop in. I could not have been more impressed!
First, let’s talk about the EXCELLENT customer service. There was a young lady there (I forgot her name :() who was more than willing to help me find products to take home. A few soaps on display had no full bars behind them and she was able to find extras for me. Some soaps had no extras behind the counter but she was able to suggest other soaps based on the scents of my favorites.
I started picking up soaps left and right, front and back. I almost dropped my collection when the lady noticed and told me I could leave my pile on the counter until I was ready to pay. I continued walking around, asking questions about almost every type of product in there. She was very knowledgable about all the products and was able to answer every question. I ended up purchasing at least 3 of each product I liked.
I finally finished choosing my goods and noticed that the soaps had been individually wrapped and had their own labels. I ended up with a humongous bag of heavy loot that made my credit card cry. Other than that, my experience was extremely pleasant and I would definitely go back to get more wonderful presents.
So far I have tried my lip balm and soap. The lip balm is light, smooth, and never feels thick on my lips. The soap was very gentle on my skin and I went through it quickly. Hopefully I can make it back when I return to the area for graduation but I have to promise to be nicer to my credit card.

Best lip balm! I am going back for more. The scent in the shop cured mine and my husbands upset stomach… so weird! The soap is gentle and smells amazing! We will be frequent customers! Can’t wait to try the laundry soap.

I am obsessed with the Summer Salve– it is jam packed with good quality oils and terrific smelling herbs, For a gardener, biker, commuter, over-​worker, city-​dweller, it has been perfect. I have never talked about a salve so much!
The soaps and Rosemary Mint lip balm were fantastic too.

I am a sucker for local products, and soaps are no exception. Usually, I’ll stop to smell the different fragrances while I’m perusing a farmer’s market or local fair, but when I passed this little gem of a store while in Flagstaff, I couldn’t help myself. The whole shop is very heavily scented (small space, LOTS of soaps), thus I found it a little difficult to get the full aroma experience from each soap; but because they all smell so wonderfully unique, I was still able to pick out what I liked best about each one. I agree with Helene, it is extremely difficult to decide which soaps to purchase, but between my husband and I, we found 4 that we are excited to wash with!
I also noticed that they sell essential oils and the like for the facial Oil Cleansing Method (OCM) that are premixed for different types of skin. I’ve been using one for oily skin for about 2 weeks now, and I can’t remember the last time my face felt greasy or grimy, and I’ve received numerous compliments on how even and soft my skin is. So not only do they make amazing soaps, but they know what’s up in the ever-​changing natural health/​hygiene world! This will continue to be a stop for me whenever I visit Flagstaff!

I love their soaps! They smell amazing. They have a rich lather, but, gentle and nondrying. The only problem is deciding which wonderful scent to purchase.
