We went and took an intro class was john. Not only was he super accommodating with the time and reserving just the night before, but he was AWESOME in the teaching itself. Super thorough, understanding and encouraging. Would reco both him and the gym itself to anyone regardless of skill level. Feel ready to get out into greater Flag now!

Megan is awesome! My girlfriend and I were on a climbing trip and we got our ropes stuck off the second rappel of the Mace in Sedona. We called the gym and she helped us trouble shoot how to get them down. We were in a real bind. She couldn’t lend us any of the gym rope as it was a liability. We did some brainstorming and she gave me the contact info of some locals with trad experience looking for climbing partners. We called a couple of guys and both of them returned our calls. One of the guys helped retrieve our ropes with his climbing partner and the other guy showed us around the local climbing crag in Flagstaff. Love local climbers!
Jeff is also awesome. We came in the next day after retrieving our rope in Sedona to look for climbing guide books and he sat down and chatted us up forever giving us the insider 411 on the local crags. We ended up buying a guide book for the pit even though we spent only a day climbing there; It will make a good memento for my girlfriend who was visiting from Japan. The climbing guide book selection at the gym is the best in town. They also have a pretty good selection of climbing gear.
