The bagels here are the best around unfortunately, the service is the worst. This place is super slow and almost every time I go into this place I hear attitudes flying at customers as if the staff is being inconvenienced by the customers placing orders… I’ve even seen a few eye rolls(from who I believe to be Suzy’s daughter). It’s really unfortunate that they can’t pull it together with their attitudes.

I lived within walking distance to this place and always took it for granted. I’m a bagel fanatic and this place easily has the best NY bagel I’ve ever had in my life including ones I’ve tried in NYC. Once I moved away to North Carolina I crave these bagels all the time and have never been able to find one up to par. The breakfast sandwiches are awesome too but nothing beats their flavored bagels and cream cheeses. Customer service is always excellent and there is never a long wait time. One of the staff member even remembers my usual order a lot of the time. Love this place!

Worst customer service I’ve experience in a while, went in twice today for myself and my girlfriend. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese the first time and I wanted to split the cost in cash and credit, usually never a problem anywhere, after I had told the lady working I wanted to pay this way she gave me an attitude and said«Could you just pay with your card?» Implying that I can in fact pay with both but she was too lazy to do the split, so I just gave in and paid with the card, the total was $ 3.99 now here is where things become idiotic… I went back about 20 minutes later to get my girlfriend a sandwich on her break placed my order with the guy working rather than the lady from before who was just sitting and playing with her cell phone, I ordered another breakfast sandwich and wanted to just pay with my card to avoid another situation like the one before so I hand the guy my card and he merely points to a small piece of paper on the register that reads something along the lines of «$ 5 minimum purchase» so I began to tell the guy I was just here and bought the same sandwich without being restricted by any minimum, he began to tell me there has always been a minimum and I pointed to the woman who had rung me up before and told him that she swiped my card for a $ 3.99 purchase then just just turned around and said«I was doing that just to show you» which made no sense at all, what was she showing me? That I can make a purchase under the minimum? Because what she said made no sense at all so with my v sandwich still on the grill, I just grabbed my card and walked out, I will never come here again! I highly recommend the owner get some new staff and remove this $ 5 minimum policy. These credit machines don’t enforce a minimum purchase, personal greed does.

Got the bacon egg and cheese on bagels, great bagels, plenty of bacon, and tasty overall. The iced coffee is good too. And all for a great price!

I go to Suzys 4 times per week on my way to work. It’s my «go to «lunch spot. They have great sandwich and salad choices, which I’ve tried, but I go back to my bagel with sun dried tomato or egg salad on rye. I call in order and when I get there, it’s ready for me. I’ve switched up to plain Bologna and cheese on wheat. It’s a generous size sandwich and my new predictable comfort food

Suzy’s is my go to for a quick morning bagel and coffee. The bagels are always fresh and the coffee is always fresh and hot. I particularly love the super onion bagel with cream cheese. What makes this place even better is the friendly staff. No matter how early it is all the staff is always chipper, smiley, and very welcoming. Always a great experience at Suzy’s.

Came here to get bagels on Labor day. Called around 11:15 and spoke to Suzy the owner and was told that they close at 12pm that day. So I hurry over and walk in by 11:30. The young asian girl behind the counter shoots me a dirty look turns her back continues what shes doing and ignores me for a few minutes. Eventually she mumbles«what do you want» without looking up. I begin to give her my order and she literally rolls her eyes and huffs and puffs the entire time. Throughout ordering she tells me they’re out of sausage, bacon, home fries, and smoothies and that they have been all summer??? Really? There’s a pork, potato and fruit shortage? Or are you just incredibly lazy and want to close the store? Probably both. Anyway other people begin to walk in and with at least 50 bagels left in the bins and 30 minutes until closing she mumbles(again without looking up) «no more bagels», so people just sort of awkwardly walk out. It was almost comical how incredibly rude this girl was and I have no doubt they lost alot of customers that day. I was getting breakfast for 10 people that morning, all who live in Fishkill and after telling them how nasty she was I doubt they’ll ever go back. Its a shame because the bagels here are actually decent. Different than what I’m used to living in NYC and NJ which tend to be super big soft and doughy. These are smaller and crisp with good flavor. So to the girl who took my order that day I get you’re young and its a holiday and you want to go home but being polite and smiling goes a long way. I wouldn’t have cared if you were out of everything/too lazy to make the sausage and home fries and smoothies but acting like I’m bothering you by being you’re customer, no girl.

This place is a joke, went in for a bacon egg and cheese they gave me 2 strips of bacon, unmelted slice of cheese, ONE egg and a STALE roll for 3.99 are you kidding me? I called the manager an asian lady and insisted they made a mistake but she confirmed the robbery with an attitude. would not recommend this place to anyone keep your money and go to a REAL sandwich shop. awful.

It is Sue’s bagel shop now. Very good bagels, always fresh. We love their raisin wallnuts creamcheese. The atmosphere in the shoppe is nice and friendly.
