The service was agreeable; however, no amount of service can make up for the conditions of the complex. The rooms were(non-smoking) however, it is quite obvious that they once allowed smoking. The smell is in everything. I stayed only 1 night, but I’ve been horribly sick since then. As for the location, I did not feel safe at all.

I wasn’t expecting too much from this place. But the basics were met. Everything was clean, the bed wasn’t bad and I had a restful sleep here. I can’t say anything about the front desk because I didn’t have any interaction with then. I would stay here again if I was ever back in the area.

ok, so this is a living document, i will here for a total of maybe 9 days between now and the rise of the third tuition bill(inside the fallopian tube joke) ok, so here it is, the truth. if you were in college, youd KILL for this room, i mean king downstairs with french doors and flat screens in 3 different areas, a granite kitchen with a dishwasher, 2 bathrooms,(ok i did get upgraded, thank you!) but as a adult, this shit is weak. leaky shower(with your expected brown warm up! yea!!!) spotty trim work, some missing all together(i can see to china, or at least the subfloor) sketchy signs everywhere, a local today told me this is a nice place, so i find it a draw on who is right, i pray its the local ;) still no in room safe(aka, unsafe) but free waffles and wifi? im in. all that said, i feel like im college, stretching a diem, and well, i guess it works, but for a family get . if this were on the shore. maybe/expected.if your 23. still humm.

Checked in and quickly checked out. DONOTSTAYHERE! Nasty, gross, smelly, stains on beds, bugs, you name it it has all the bad you can imagine. The front desk Clerk was super nice and let us get out without paying a cancelation fee. I’m sure we have not been her first. We moved across the street to Courtyard and feel MUCH better!

Creepy. Scummy. Skeevy. Outdated. Signs everywhere reminding you to look the doors and windows. Even the lobby locks after a certain hour and you need to be buzzed in. Makes sense, I suppose, as there are prisons nearby and that Newburgh(right across the river) is the murder capital of New York(or so says New York Magazine). The room had a weird smell. A nauseatingly sick smell. Had to use about half a bottle of perfume to cover the smell. Everything in the hotel was covered in scummy stickiness. The kitchen cabinets, especially. I «Purelled» constantly here. The couch was kind of nasty, so we used the extra fitted sheet as a slip-cover. Not once did I walk around barefoot or allow the children to play on the floor. Thankful that we travel with our own pack-n-plays. At least the bedding was clean. It was the first thing I checked and we would have checked out and kept driving had it not been. The appliances, the design, the hardware, the carpet, the furniture, ALL extremely OUTDATED. We booked this hotel through . Between not paying very much and this just being an overnight break on the long drive home from vacation, it served it’s purpose.

This location must be overdue for a remodel… there is a ton of competition in the area not sure how it stays open. Front desk was nice and I booked this room sold as «Suite, Queen bed, Bedroom in loft, Sofabed, Bathrooms: 2, Fireplace» perfect for 2 adults and two kids right? Wrong I wanted to keep the kids separate unfortunately that did not happen cause the queen bed was located next to the pull out sofa… anyway our room needed a good cleaning bathroom looked like someone just changed the towels and the sofa actually had big holes in it. For $ 180+ I was expecting a lot more. Last summer we stayed at the Ramada down the street and we thought that was questionable this put that to shame. Needless to say our stop in Fishkill was a buzzkill!

Outdated, check. Musty, check Lofted bedroom with a murphy bed, check. Staying here w a dog, a great setup. Staying here without a pet, a little like deliverance. Hospitable and clean… not for date night

If you miss 1978 then this is the hotel for you! Old dated room and appliances. Ceiling was peeling off in the living area. Mold in the bathroom. Bed so uncomfortable, bedding old, sheets maybe a 50 thread count, foam pillows. This was a last minute booking so I had no choice but staying here. I was shocked that Marriott would have it’s name on such a shabby room. The staff was nice and the pool area clean. The breakfast buffet was pretty sad, stay away from the hot food, stick to the toast, cereal and juice. Free Wi-Fi was a big plus.
