I have been going to this park since we adopted our dog in August. It is a big park with a water source a great plastic pool, water bowls and great people who bring their dogs. Great people because they are responsible, social and watch their dogs. Poop is usually picked up quickly and owners walk around the area not just sit and talk. It’s also no cost. I recommend this place for anyone who needs to exercise or socialize their dogs. A good crowd is there on Saturdays and Sundays from about 11 — 3.

I was brining my dog, Maple here for quite a few weeks. She LOVED it. She is a very loving and sociable dog. Yes she is also a pitbull. She has always gotten along with every dog and person she has come in contact with. This past week Maple and another dog(after playing very well for about 30 mins) got a hold of each other’s collars. To myself, my boyfriend and the owner of the other dog this was not a big deal. The dogs were separated and there were no injuries. As responsible dog owners we BOTH decided that they were over excited and it would be best to just call it a day. A woman that was OUTSIDE the park became irate and started screaming at us that our dog was vicious. Now, I could go on and on but the bottom line is ignorance. This woman was very ignorant in what she said. She didn’t know my dog. I would never bring an aggressive dog into an environment where there were other dogs. That’s irresponsible at best. The owner of the other dog was fine and we were both ready to leave. The irate woman who was also irratic pulled her car I front of ours so we couldn’t leave. She purposely tried to hit our car(which I videoed, thank you technology) and she was telling her kids to tell us to go «f* ourselves. What a disgusting human being. Pitbull are very loving and affectionate dogs. If they weren’t I wouldn’t have one, let alone have one around kids. Don’t bully a bread you don’t know. ANY dog can be fought to be a killer if treated poorly

Decent dog run that is a pretty good size to run your dog. Things it has going for it: — Big, about one acre — Dedicated parking — Plastic bags available to pick ip poop and poop bag dispensers but no poop bags in them — Adequate fencing in most parts of run — Plenty of shade — Has a water source Things it has going against it: — No separate large and small dog runs — Water source that is available is only a hose and a couple of bowls — Limited seating — Dirt and grass ground cover — No bathrooms near run This dog run has the size but it needs a few upgrade and some TLC to make a great dog run. Add a better water source, more seating, have poop bags and this is a 3 star dog run. Upgrade ground cover and upgrade or fix some of the fencing and it is probably a 4 star dog run.
