I also purchased a Groupon for cleaning and just attempted to redeem it(well before it’s expiration). Instead of being able to speak to an employee or the business owner, I was directed to a voicemail that explained they would not be able to honor any coupons or Groupons due to high volume and staffing issues. This is disappointing and honestly pretty pathetic. It doesn’t take a wealth of insight or planning to be able to estimate staffing needs and plan accordingly when entering into contracts for coupons and Groupons. Now I have to seek a refund from Groupon and my house won’t be cleaned.

This company gave me a quote to clean my house once a month, and when I called them back to schedule the appointment they told me that they couldn’t honor the quote. The quote wasn’t a special promotional offer, so needless to say I was shocked when they didn’t keep their word. Very poor business tactics.

We bought a 10-hour cleaning via Groupon and scheduled an appointment online. They said that Groupon’s system messed things up and had to reschedule us for a few weeks later. That was fine. But then, about a week from the new appointment, I receive a VM saying that they would not be able to honor that appointment because it wasn’t in a part of town she(the owner or manager) could get any of her people to go to, even though it was within their 20-mile service area. Why’s that? Because we live on the east side of Indianapolis? Then, after leaving her a message saying that I wanted a refund(which was offered, at least) and that I would leave a negative review, this woman had the nerve to call back and lie to me saying that I must have misunderstood her — that she was just wanting to change the appointment from 8:30 to 9am for the same day. Complete bull! Her message clearly said that she couldn’t get anyone to go to our place and that she could maybe reschedule something for sometime in August. I’d be happy to send the audio file to anyone wants to hear it for themselves. Any, by the way, we live in a very nice Irvington neighborhood; but maybe all of east Indy is just one big scary place to some people from Fishers.
