Closed. Lasted about as long as we expected. Many other local places in the area to give a try though!

The food was great! Went there with friends so got to sample a lot. The fried chicken is flavorfully seasoned. The meatloaf has a meatiness that is exceptional(has a tomato/ketchup like topping on it). The turkey is moist and comes with a yummy dressing. The fried catfish was fresh and flavorful. The sides: collard greens were very good, cabbage was average. Mac & cheese is the most important soul food side & I give there’s a solid B. It could have been cheesier. I love the fact they serve kool aid though I didn’t try it. Desserts: Sweet potato pie was amazing, strawberry cake was moist and lemon cake was also very good. Service: The co-owner was extremely friendly and generous as was the rest if the staff. They gave my friend a free dessert that wasn’t cut properly… Uh we’ll take it! If you go into a soul food place after church on Sunday(1−4pm) expect a crowd! It was busy but well worth the wait! We will be going back!
