Olio Road Family Care

I’ve been visiting Olio Road Family Care for quite a few years now thanks to the recommendation of a friend. If my regular doctor isn’t available, I’ve found all the physicians on staff are just great! I’ve seen Dr. Gish, Dr. Kizer, and Dr. Nader. This practice is in the Community network, and I really like their MyChart/​eCommunity feature. It is so easy to communicate with the office, make appointments, check test results, and look at your health records. They now do eVisits so you don’t even have to come in for certain things!
As I mentioned in my recent tip, the check-​in kiosk at the office is usually not working so you just check in at the desk. (I think they’ve given up on it. It’s worked like twice in the years I’ve been going.) They have a tea/​coffee station and also a water station on the other side of the room.
My advice is to get an early morning appointment. If you don’t, you may have to wait a little bit since the practice does tend to center around pediatrics/​families. This is a really good practice, and they’ve always taken care of my needs.
