God’s Miles Nursery & Pre-School Inc.

We have been with God’s Miles now over a year. Both children are THRIVING and Lori and her staff continue to nurture and create a comfortable, well balanced learning environment that CANNOT be rivaled. I am so thrilled we took a leap of faith and tried something different. They are currently on track to receive their Path to Quality Level 4 and the teacher turnover is INCREDIBLY low compared to other daycare centers. Lori is accessible, listens and responds quickly and efficiently if/​when issues arise.
The Pre-​K room is incredible. My son is doing it a 2^nd time b/​c we weren’t quite ready to send him off to kindergarten and he is seriously doing AMAZING. I am always quite shocked at his knowledge and feel he is definitely going to be ready for Kindergarten next year due to Miss Kerri and Miss Amanda’s daily consistent teachings. He is right on track and his confidence grows each day. The class size is smaller and very intimate allowing a LOT of personal attention.
My daughter is also doing awesome in her 3 year old class room and I’m always pleasantly surprised by the things she knows how to do — sing songs from memory, say her ABCs, count to 30 and higher, spell her name, etc.
I realize that this is what they are supposed to be doing but history with other facilities indicated that the focus WAS not on learning, but just surviving the day. In addition to the knowledge, they are thriving socially and emotionally.
Other things to mention:
–While in daycare at other locations my children would get sick and seemingly be that way for a LONG time, but they rarely come down with illness while attending God’s Miles. I know this is b/​c they take STRICT care to clean toys and tables and public areas often. I personally see them doing this in the morning and afternoon.
– Consistent improvements to the building and surrounding outside area, making it more warm, welcoming and looking brighter and beautiful.
– Follows all guidelines and keeps staff up to date and trained on CPR and believes in professional development through experience and online training.
– Family oriented, flexible allowing parttime, fulltime and offering a week off after your first full time year.
We are big fans of God’s Miles. I am so glad we found them and will continue to send our daughter after our son is off to Kindergarten. It’s a great environment full of loving caring people and I trust them explicitly.

We’ve had two kids in God’s Miles for almost 4 years, going back to their previous location around the corner. Having previously placed our oldest son in two other local daycares, we particularly appreciate that the director here is also the proprietor. Lori is very involved with parents and responsive to feedback — much more so than with the chain daycare businesses. The teachers are great! We have confidence sending our now 3 year-​old there knowing he will have great interaction with other kids in a safe, structured environment, and most importantly he loves being there.
