The food was great, our server was incredibly sweet and accommodating with such a large group. The building looked really nice in the inside, i loved the lighting. I knocked off a star for cleanliness. Most of our menus had food stuck between the plastic pages and were oily/greasy feeling, which can definitely kill an appetite

Located next to a gym, which sucks. I eat so much then waddle out staring at the gym and overcome with shame. Bento box with so many options for everyone. I’d recommend stopping by if you get the chance, sushi in a strip mall is all the rave in Indiana. They have bubble tea, I’d tell you what that is, but I don’t know. Enjoy.

Boba tea is great. Although once, the tapioca pearls were hard in places. That was strange. But I’ve had them at least half a dozen times and never experienced that so I’ll give it a pass. I’d skip the avocado in the sushi too. Mine was so brown it wasn’t appealing. However all the food is delicious! Crab Rangoon, pot stickers, fried rice, sesame chicken, teriyaki, pepper steak… I’ve never had a bad entrée at this place. Salad was fresh as well.

We have been here twice. The sushi is delicious and the service is great. Price is similar to other sushi spots in the area. We would recommend it!

Came here during lunch when I was in town for business and I must say the lunch special was awesome. 2 rolls for $ 8.50! Probably the best sushi I’ve ever had. Perfect temp, fresh fish! Try the eel and Alaskan roll! TODIEFOR! I will DEFINITELY be back when I’m in town!

This is a nice spot for inexpensive sushi and bento boxes. The sushi may not be top notch, but it’s pretty good and impressive for the price. The portions are very large here, so come hungry.

Bento’s is a great choice for lunch. The menu includes a wide variety of selections such that everyone’s preferences can be accommodated. The hot & sour soup was truly excellent. There are great bento boxes with a range of options. These are almost sampler choices. My wife had shrimp fried rice which was a very large portion with plenty of well sized and perfectly cooked shrimp(not over done). I opted for a couple of sushi rolls which I found to be very fresh and well made. Though it is a very busy place at lunch time, the staff are pleasant and the service is quick. In sum, a really good option for a nice Asian lunch.

I cannot rave enough about Bento Café. Not only is there food amazing, but their service, cleanliness, and overall quality is hard to beat. I’ve been here a quite often now, to the point where the waitress knows my drink order without hesitation. She will asks me to confirm, but can always guess without my saying anything. Milk tea here is hands down the best milk tea in Indiana. I’ve tried Cha Time, Taiwan Tea House, Saigon(for boba) and most other Asian restaurants that serve milk tea/boba, and NONEOFTHEM even compare. Bento makes their tea strong with a splash of milk for creaminess, but doesn’t dilute their tea with milk, nor do they overpower the tea with poor quality ingredients. They have finessed their tea recipe to be perfect. Not to mention, the pearls in the milk tea are sweetened with just the right amount of sugar and remain soft and chewy even in the iced milk tea. I honestly could go on for days about this tea. I got my sister(who lives in MA) hooked and has told me that she craves it whenever she’s home! Feel free to try the other drinks as well. There is a coffee/cappuccino slush that is blended so smooth you’ll wonder how they got the ice so small; and their Thai milk tea, which isn’t 100% authentic(more of a nod to Thai tea than actual Thai tea), is still amazingly flavorful and full of strong tea flavor and spices. The food is great as well. I’ve gotten their sushi combos, bento boxes, udon soups, and appetizers. Each item is very well made. The sushi uses fresh ingredients and are appropriately portioned with their rice to fish ratio. Any fried item you get do doesn’t make you feel heavy and oily after either. The udon seafood soup was refreshing with a rich savory broth. Most meals are priced very reasonably and are affordable for lunch and dinner. The quantity of each dish always fills me up as well, so you’re getting a good bang for your buck. I highly recommend Bento Café to anyone, and will even endorse this as one of my favorite restaurants in Indiana! Get up and get your booty there now!

The service alone is pretty amazing. Fast, attentive and knowledgeable. The food is to die for! The pot stickers and crab Rangoon are some of the best I’ve ever had. My family and I got the boat filled with 10 different rolls. Each of them were tasty and well crafted. Highly recommend!

I used to just swing in here for some bubble tea when I worked in Fishers, but this weekend I swooped in for some dinner bento boxes and I was super happy that I did! We both opted for the sushi boxes which comes with a 6 piece California roll, 2 potstickers, a spring roll, crab rangoon, and a roll of your choice… aka PLENTY of food for $ 9-$ 11! We had the Dynamite Roll which was just ok in my book and the Rock N Roll which was my favorite for sure, just the right amount of goodies wrapped inside the rice-y goodness. We ordered a spicy salmon roll just for good measure and we were pretty sushi drunk by the end of the meal. Many of the larger tables around us had this cute little boat that was full of rolls and that definitely caught my attention and has me itching to go back with a larger group and get that sailboat!

We met friends and they ordered the Crab Ragoon as an appetizer. I normally don’t order this but I tried one and it was delicious. For dinner, I ordered the Pink Lady Roll and Sesame Crusted Tuna Roll. Everything about the rolls were great! But I would definitely order the tuna roll again! My fav out of the two. My daughter ordered spicy tuna roll and OMG roll which consisted of fried shrimp tempura which she said was awesome. They didn’t serve green tea in a pot and mine was really luke warm but my very last cup was finally how I like it, piping hot! We also ordered mochi ice cream which was good. I would definitely come back here to eat!

This is a lovely spot in the Fishers area for a reasonably priced sit down meal. Obviously I had a bento box for my first time there, which was tasty. You can choose between a variety of protein based boxes or sushi ones. They average around the $ 11 range for dinner and $ 9 for lunch. I would suggest if you enjoy your food on the spicier side to ask for more heat than usual, the spicy dish we ordered could have had more heat. I’m excited to come back and try some main menu items, and any place that has sushi boats is a guilty pleasure of mine.

Impeccable service! Our waitress was on top of everything and we felt we were taken care of very well. The food came out so quickly and hot that if you order a fried roll — wait five minutes before eating. OMG we dug right in and burned our mouths. I’ve been to other sushi places and my fried rolls always came out gross — Luke warm or cold. The bento boxes are huge. Soooo much food for $ 10. I thought they would be small. We had leftovers for sure. Cozy space with cool lighting. We will be back. Great place. We liked our jaguar roll and the red curry and honey walnut shrimp bento boxes were delicious.

I was very impressed by this place. When you first walk in you will first notice the nice modern décor. It is very sleek and inviting. The hostess greated us right away and found us a seat. The food was great and well priced. My wife and I both got bento boxes, her bento box was one of the sushi boxes. The sushi box had a specialty roll, California roll, crab rangoon, and a salad. She loved everything about her meal. The price was less than $ 11 not bad at all in my eyes. I got a more traditional bento box with chicken and broccoli stir fry, California roll, spring roll, crab Rangoon, pot stickers, and a salad. I liked everything with our meal, the stir fry could have used less sauce but still tasty. We got the kids chicken lomain and chicken fried rice. The portions were huge and very tasty. This is a must try, cheap and tasty.

I love this place! The inside feels very trendy and modern. The sushi menu is extensive, but I opted for the bento box. Very reasonably priced at about $ 11, you get a ton of food! The General Tso’s chicken was good, though not spicy. The dinners come with a crab rangoon, a pring roll, six pieces of California roll, two potstickers and your choice of steamed rice, or fried rice. Plus miso soup or house salad. Everything was delicious and there was so much food! The California roll was a little preview of their sushi, and it was well rolled with well seasoned and perfectly cooked rice. And they remembered to leave off the cucumber as I ordered(so many places get this wrong for me!). Our server was wonderful. We had our toddler in tow, and she was careful to set all hot food out of my daughter’s reach and even brought me a sharp knife to cut her food. They have bubble teas as well. They are serviceable, but I think they use the powder mix instead of the fresh fruit.

This is such a cool little Asian restaurant. You would think this would be downtown somewhere on Meridian St or Mass Ave. But you would be wrong. It’s located in a strip mall out in the middle of nowhere in Fishers next to an LA Fitness and a bike/running store. Prices are extremely reasonable. You can opt to go the traditional, family-style route and order full platters of all the entrees, soups, and appetizers to share or you can get a bento box(hence the name) which comes with rice, soup or salad, a California roll, and an entrée. There are lunch and dinner bento boxes. And these are not your run-of-the-mill bento boxes that you see at several of the sushi restaurants around town. These are monster boxes. You will probably find yourself getting a doggy bag. The décor can only be described as modern Asian. There are no giant pictures of the Great Wall, but you can definitely tell this is an Asian restaurant. If you sit along the walls, be prepared to be bathed in black light(so get that lint off your black shirt, for Pete’s sake). The menu definitely caters to the American palate so you will see the usual General Tso’s chicken, broccoli beef, etc., but there are some more authentic items for the more adventurous, too. Sushi is made fresh and if you order enough, it gets served to you in a gigantic wooden boat which is pretty cool. They also have an extensive selection of bubble(or boba, if you prefer) teas which are made at warp speed and are at your table in under 2 minutes. There are not many family-owned restaurants in Fishers so the next time I am in the area, Bento Café has deserved a well-earned return visit.
