Great bikes for a fair price. Hubby and I wanted to go on the Sunset Trail(9.5 miles) in Peninsula Park and they were really convenient, a block away, and allowed us to park our car in their lot. The ride was 1.5 hours, $ 18.00 for both of us. And best of all they shredded the imprint of our credit card. Nice touch!

Considerably less expensive for comparable rentals than the rental shop across the street. I rented a fat bike to try on the off road trails inside the park. The bike was well maintained and performed well. They seem to have a wide selection of rentals and had availability even during the busy months in the summer.

Nor Door is a great place in Door County for rentals, service, and sales. I’ve rented bikes from them a few times and have found their prices very reasonable for good quality Trek bikes. Renting is a breeze — very quick and easy and the staff are incredibly helpful. I’ve also used their service department a few times — once to get a wheel trued which they did very quickly while I waited in store and charged a very low rate. I also had to take my bike in for two very quick minor repairs that they did for free. Granted the repairs took about 2 minutes each, but I still appreciated the quick fix and immediate service. Also, when on vacation last week I realized I forgot my helmet at home so went to Nor Door to buy a new one. Instead of being inundated with dozens of choices, they had about 5 and each was very different from each other in terms of style and/or price point. An employee was very helpful in assisting me choose the best one. Nor Door is the place for biking in Door County!

Seamless rental: Got in and was out on the trail within 10 minutes, convenient location to the Peninsula Trail — which is shaded and beautiful although has some demanding hills! Prices are prorated by quarter hour increments to avoid gouging, bikes were top-notch, and staff worked like a well-oiled machine.

Swift, friendly service; great prices; really good bikes; and mighty, mighty convenient. + Not only is this shop right outside the entrance to Peninsula State Park, we were pedaling away in less than ten minutes; dropping off the bikes took about ten seconds. + Two hours of rental for two bikes cost us a mere $ 18.99! + Really good quality bikes + A bike lock, helmets, and a map of the park provided gratis + The bikes also have a water-bottle holder and a front pouch + Extra-large helmets were available upon request, much appreciated by my giant melon + Cold, potable water(not a given on this peninsula) from the fountain near the restrooms + Bonus: some super-dry wit from the lady who checked us out

Just stopped in at the Sturgeon Bay store(can’t find it on Unilocal) and received tremendous service. Out of state on vacation, I didn’t know where to go to fix my daughter’s knee scooter. After reading a positive review on Google, we decided to stop in and see if they could help. On a busy Friday, summer afternoon I received immediate service that was personable and professional, the kind of place you want to give your repeat business. Thanks!

Great service! We came in the store wanting to rent snowshoes and go for a hike. When we told the staff where we wanted to go, they were honest that without fresh snow on the trail, snowshoeing would be difficult, and probably not much fun. We didn’t rent snowshoes, but the staff still took the time to highlight good walking trails that we could explore. I will definitely return here. I loved their honesty and value great customer service!

This was the first time my husband and I ever tried cross-country skiing. The entire staff was courteous and quite knowledgable. We were quite pleased with the boots, skis and poles. They even headed us in the right direction for beginner ski trails complete with map.

Great service and very friendly staff. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and were quickly outfitted with bikes for my entire family. We were ready to go at 3:30, but the guy helping us said the clock wouldn’t start until 3:45, which I thought was very cool. The bikes — all Treks were top notch; one of the nicest bikes I have ever ridden. At $ 5-$ 6 per hour, I thought they were an excellent value. When we returned, the guy helping us offered to take a family picture. A great experience all around! We’ll definitely be back on our next visit to Door County.

Helpful and friendly staff. They are able to get you in quick to fix bikes. My friend was having an issue with a twisted chain and they fixed it for her free of charge! Nor-Door also has a great selection of products with reasonable prices for the items my friends and I forgot. I also ended up getting a great long sleeve biking jersey that was on clearance.

Had my bike on my rack from Chicago and I must have mounted it wrong and the exhaust melted the tire. Took my bike in and they had a new tire on in 10 minutes on a busy Saturday afternoon. Great service and a fair price.

These guys were absolutely outstanding. My wife and I had a bike catastrophe Wednesday night in Door County. After picking up firewood for camping, we somehow didn’t sink the pin in the hitch of our bike rack when putting it back up. A short while later, while we were driving about twenty miles per hour, the bike rack and our two mountain bikes came crashing down on the road, sustaining significant of enough damage that neither of them were near ride-able. We were obviously upset about the damage to our bikes, and thought we were done biking for our week long vacation. We brought our bikes in the next morning to Nor-Door, embarrassed, distraught, and desperate for good news. The bike mechanic quickly assessed the damage, found all necessary replacement parts in stock, gave an estimate that was far below what we had imagined, and told us he would give us a call when work was completed. Three hours later our bikes were ready to go, the estimate was spot on, and we were on our way. We felt that we were treated exceptionally well. Although we only came in for repair, they had a pretty big showroom of bikes and equipment, and what appeared to be a thriving rental business. We give Nor-Door our highest recommendation!

Rarely do I find a rental bike as nice as my personal bike in terms of comfort, features and overall workability. But that all changed when I visited Nor-Door Sports and Cyclery during a recent trip to Fish Creek. This place was amazing! The staff was helpful from the very start– highlighting the various paths through Peninsula State Park, showing us how we could take back roads from town to town along the peninsula, and then walking with us outside to properly fit the bikes. And speaking of the bikes? 24 speed Treks that came with a lock, a small bag to carry personal items and a water bottle carrier(bring your own water bottle) These bikes were great as they had shock absorbers on both the front, and back as well as the seat so it was a comfortable ride on or off the path. Rentals are reasonable– about $ 6 an hour(it will take you 1.5 hours to go through the park without stopping) If you want to rent for multiple days– reservations are rec commended and they will bring multiple day rental bikes to you. In the Winter– they rent x-country skies for about $ 12 a day or snowshoes for hiking at $ 4 per hour. Great equipment rented to you from people who know their stuff, at a reasonable price, Now that’s my kind of shop.

Me and my friend rented bikes there for a little ride through the States park which is right across the street. They had a great selection of bikes. For $ 6 a rental you got to chose a Trek!!! I couldn’t believe it; and the lady that helped us was very nice as well. Also, which in the shop you can purchase your own bike if you’d like along with all the accessories. Even«workout» jelly beans :)
