After my second time coming to this restaurant, I believe this place only deserves two stars. This restaurant is very understaffed(or at least when I visited). Only one person was in the front taking care of customers and working at the register. I ordered to go on the phone and was told it would take 20 – 25 minutes. This was pretty long considering the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. When I came in, I was ignored for 15 minutes. At this point, I was so hungry I felt like I was going to die. Eventually, they gave me my food and I was excited to eat it back home. I got home and was very disappointed with the quality of the food. I got Chicken Tikka Masala again(as usual) and it was DRYAF. Also it didn’t taste really good. I feel like the microwavable Chicken Tikka Masalas from the store tasted better. I also got the garlic naan and it tasted like cardboard. I probably wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone anymore… :(Indian places back in California are much better.

I found hair in my food. After talking to management, I realized they didn’t care about it. Place is not sanitary.

I can’t believe that I’ve never been to this restaurant before. The food was the best Indian I have ever had. The service was superb. The food came out fast and hot. As my wife and I ate, we discussed how we would be eating our leftovers tomorrow for lunch, and we will also be getting a group together to come back up on Sunday for lunch. Seriously guys, it’s that good! I can’t believe that they aren’t any busier. I am making it my job to get the word out! As I pulled out of the parking lot, I saw bdubs parking lot filled to the max. What a shame. Obviously none of the customers over there know what good food is.

We went here on a business trip to Findlay and the night before we had went to a highly reviewed Indian eatery in Columbus which was a huge let down. That was not the case here; we were super shocked to find such a great Indian place in the small town of Findlay. The food was great and the service was exceptional as well. The only thing that was slightly off was the Chia tea; it seems like it may be made from a mix and would like to see some improved quality there. Beyond that it was a great experience.

I was not expecting to find such marvelous Indian food in the middle of Ohio, but this place was the equal of anything I’ve had in the Washington DC metro area. The décor was a bit fast-foodish, but the flavors and the spice love were perfect.

I am a huge fan of Indian cuisine. Punjabi kitchen is excellent. They actually moved to Findlay because they had so many people commuting to Toledo just to have lunch. I am not a huge fan of buffets but they have an excellent lunch time buffet. They offer just a handful of great options for only 10 bucks.

I recently visited Punjabi Kitchen for the first time to celebrate a friend’s birthday and the whole group left happy. We all chose the lunch buffet which is a deal at $ 8.99/person and has many delicious options. Despite being a meat eater, my favorite dishes were all vegetarian. Everything was flavorful without being spicy since the spice level is mild for the buffet. We were told that if we wanted the heat level to be increased, the kitchen could do that. If you order off the menu, you can choose mild, medium, or hot. The waiter was friendly, helpful, and quick to refill drinks. I’m looking forward to my next visit and exploring the menu!

Positives: The buffet is better than most. Pretty good variety of flavors and a few usually have a bit of heat, which is a nice change compared to many buffets that never change and tend to be bland.(They seem to have goat curry on a regular basis. It’s quite good) Service and atmosphere are also good. The times I’ve ordered off the menu have been delicious. And for what it’s worth, I’ve had a few Indian friends give it positive reviews. Negatives: I’m not an expert on Indian food, but some of the dishes are a bit bland. All of those have been off the buffet though. It’s good and quick, so I tend to get it for lunch, but there are always some forgettable dishes. Summary: Count yourself fortunate there is a solid Indian restaurant in Findlay and give it a shot.

We stopped in for dinner this past weekend and were pleased with our entire experience, from the food to the service. Eating early for a Saturday, the restaurant was not crowded(although more people had arrived by the time we left). We had our pick of seats in the clean and well-lit space. Service was prompt and attentive from the beginning without being intrusive. The fairly large menu gave us a nice variety of Indian staples to choose from, and we had a bit of trouble deciding what to ultimately get. Once we decided however, the food arrived promptly. The vegetable samosas are above average, with flavorful filling that has more nuance than other versions I’ve had. They are fried properly and avoid the trap of becoming too oily that some fall into. We ordered all of our other dishes mild to accommodate one of our party. They nevertheless provided the rest of our party with a solid hot sauce to adjust the heat to our own liking. The most popular dish at the table was probably the chicken korma, followed by the lamb curry in a close second. The saag paneer was a good representation of that dish. The chicken vindaloo, while tasty, was a little odd with a bright red sauce that looked more artificially colored than tomato-based. I’d definitely return to sample other things on the menu. The location is a little odd, as it faces the nearby retail businesses and is not visible from the road. I hope that doesn’t diminish their reach, as this is a great option for Indian food in the area.

Delightful treat hidden in a strip mall! Loving the fact that we no longer have to drive to Columbus to have a little taste of heaven! Our waiter was extremely attentive and our food was quick to arrive! Great place!

Two for dinner. It was good, but not extraordinary. If I could give ½ stars, I’d assign a rating of 3.5. Positives: Pretty good service. Food was tasty and prices were quite reasonable. The onion kulcha was really good. Not-so-goods: The place was sorta«stark.» I ordered my dinner spiced«medium» and it was quite bland. Would we go back when next in FIndlay? Sure.

Delicious indian food. It tastes like Perfect home made food! The service was really good! What a great find! We came to this place recently. we decided on this place and this was one of the good experience. The food was fabulous. The freshness of the food and quality was tasted in every bite. If anyone lives near findlay or stopping through, try here because you won’t regret it! Chicken tikka masala was yummy

Did not disappoint! We were passing through and stopped here based on Unilocal reviews. We got the chicken curry, naan, raita, and a mango lassi to split. Lassi was very good, as was the curry. They had three spice levels to choose from and we got the«medium» which was just right for me, but my fiancé could have handled a bit more spice. I normally get a 2 or 3 on a scale of 6 at my regular place for comparison. Service was prompt and attentive, though it was only the one guy waiting tables. I liked that the food came out in bowls with separate plates to facilitate sharing dishes.

We have been dining here since they opened a couple years ago. My husband is a huge fan of Indian food, but I am not usually such a fan myself. However, we both love the food at Punjabi! I highly recommend this place. Let’s keep them in Findlay!

I am far from an expert on this cuisine, but I have enjoyed having access to a buffet to try new foods. I wouldn’t know what to order from a menu. I am sure that getting food that sits on a buffet table is not the best way to have it prepared — a true connoisseur would likely sneer. But being able to take a small serving of something new to my tastebuds is appreciated! I will hopefully be confident enough to order off the menu soon.
