Pirates Cove

My son had his birthday party here on Friday Feb 19. The teenage girl working was extremely hard working and very helpful. There were a few games that we had trouble with but she was quick to get them fixed.

Owner booked a family with a little girl suffering from leukemia for a birthday party. Then double booked the venue and cut her party short by 4 hours. He still charged the family the full price and then tried to intimidate them claiming to be a lawyer. Not sure if he’s an actual lawyer, but I’m positive he’s a disgusting excuse for a human being.

This place is AWESOME: D Theres Laser Tag, bounce houses and a giant Arcade. Even thou im only 13 please take my opinion and come to this place. I have no idea why the 2 people below/​above me thinks its a bad place. The teenagers only work there on Fridays and I do have to agree with Dawn M. that the teenagers there are not really in controll of the place. Just go on Sat. or Sun. and you will have fully grown adults working. All in all this is more than likely the cheapest and funnest fun center EVER! Defenitly recomend coming here: D

My fiancé and I went to Pirate’s Cove earlier today and it was honestly the worst arcade I had ever laid eyes on. The staff was a bunch of teenage jerks that didn’t want to do their jobs and were pissed that we came in. Anyway, we went into the arcade room and we got some tokens. They don’t have many arcades in the first place and the first thing we noticed was that 6 out of the 15 arcades that they did have were OUT OF ORDER. So my fiancé puts four tokens ($ 1.00) into the Deal or No Deal arcade and it just eats her tokens. The kids running the place (who were even more mad that I asked for help) came over all angry and opened the machine and hit a button to count the tokens. Didn’t want to fix it or even worry about it. We started playing it and it shut down and rebooted multiple times and we didn’t get a full game out of it.
More still coming! My fiancé’s favorite arcade is skeeball and they had three of them and we were so happy that they were one of the lucky few games that weren’t out of order. Then we noticed one was busted and the balls were just laying all over it. The other one didn’t have any balls in it and the third one still read one ball left and wouldn’t let us do anything. After all this bull crap. We decided to leave since there was literally no arcades working properly in the ENTIRE PLACE and the staff hated us for being there. We couldn’t run quick enough to get out of there. If this is the worst review you read on here then I did my job. Please, oh please, do not support this horrible business. If you do go I wish you the best of luck because you will most definitely need it!

I’ve always had a good experience bringing my nieces and nephews here when I visit. The smaller kids/​girls like the bouncy air things, where they jump around and gets them active and parents can participate. They have laser tag for the older kids which they have seemed to enjoy and works them out some. The only thing that I don’t like are the games with «tokens» which do promote gambling, and then your tickets don’t get you much as far as Chinese plastic toys, BUT with that said, it’s a good hour or so of entertainment otherwise (you don’t have to play the arcade like games) and allows them to let off some steam. Regarding the other review, if you looking for someone to baby sit while you are there with your kids, don’t expect that. I mean it’s Findlay, OH, I wouldn’t expect high-​end stuff, but for the area it works and gets them out of the house on a rainy day.

Not a great experience. We had my daughter’s 9^th birthday party here. The staff is pretty much a joke. They did not keep things going. Didn’t even seem to care if the day was going smoothly. But that is what you get when you leave teenage boys in charge of an entire facility. If they don’t do something to improve customer service… this place may not be there long.
I don’t think we’ll ever bother having another party here.
