Joey Fratello’s is a family favorite! Even when you’re on the street walking towards the restaurant, the aroma draws you in. It literally makes the street smell good! I’ve only eaten there a few times, but everything I’ve had has been so good. I always start with the side Caesar salad with the freshly grated Parmesan cheese. There are so many great specialty pizzas or you can create your own. My family enjoys the Chicken Bacon Ranch, Pepperoni Lovers, and Buffalo Chicken. And you have to order the Chocolate Chip Cannoli dessert pizza because it’s fantastic! I normally don’t even like dessert pizzas, but this one is a winner.

I went here for lunch and got the Steakburger sandwich and fries. The fries tasted good and were slightly crispy on the outside. The Steakburger sandwich was really tasty! It was a little strange eating a burger on toasted sandwich bread since there are spots where there’s no meat because the patty was a circle… But the tomato sauce and mozzarella on it was really good even by itself! I could only finish half of the meal and took the rest to go. Definitely want to go back and try out more of the menu. I don’t think the menu posted on here at this time is updated.

Great pizza, saucy, pretty good crust, great cheese and quality toppings. You can’t go wrong with their pies. I give their pizza 4+ stars. Their sub however get 5 stars because I can’t give them more than that. They are amazing and made on Bread Kneads sub buns. Delicious quality food at a great price. Great stuff!

Great local pizza joint. Came here on our way up North. The food was delicious. Only reason we didn’t give it 5 stars was bc the back room had a musty smell.

The pizza and breadsticks get 5 stars. The smell in the back room brought the score down to a four. It smells like water damage. Had to sit in the front where it was hot, but smelled delicious.

Best pizza in Findlay. Very friendly staff too! Calzones are also very good. I like their sauce as it packs a lot of flavor.

My family and I where in Findlay with my dad which was born here and while driving around the city we saw the restaurant and decided to go in and eat and can only say that other that looking at the city going in and eating was the best thing we did all day. The service is outstanding and the food was great all around. Recommended it 100% great place to eat.

This is our favorite pizza when visiting family in Findlay. Most people would consider it a NY style pizza, but some people might take exception to that, only IMO they cut the pizza in smaller size pieces that I have gotten in Manhattan. Slightly sweet sauce, nice cruse fresh ingredients. Boneless wings are good too. Have eaten in once and usually order pick up.

Stopped in on a Thursday night three of us new to the place. I had the Tuscan Chicken & Feta Pizza. Great ! Crust was light Vegetables fresh, just a very pleasant surprise. Will be stopping back to try more.

I’m new to Findlay and moving night we ordered delivery. Delicious. Then went today and ate in, tried a calzone & deep fried ravioli. Excellent food and really great service. I will most definitely take my out of town visitors here.

In my opinion, Joey’s ranks at the top of Findlay pizzerias. The ingredients are always fresh, the sauce has just the right zip(and they’re not stingy with it like some pizza places), and they don’t load the top with cheese. In my opinion, that’s a good thing as a great pizza is all about balance. The crust is also consistently delicious, with the right balance of chewiness without being soggy and unappetizing. I don’t know if this is true New York style pizza as I’ve never had pizza in New York; but it is definitely one of the best in Findlay.

Excellent pizza — I guess that’s why it’s SOOOO expensive. (still a fan)

I’ve had their pizza, calzones, sandwiches and pasta, which are all very good. However, the service is very slow and food usually takes quite a long time to prepare.

I like the calzones. however, the pizza is not NY style pizza. It doesn’t even vaguely resemble anything like any of the probably 30+ places I’ve had pizza in Manhattan. It’s not awful. It is decent. But it’s just not what they advertise.

I had a medium pepperoni pizza and it was pretty damn tasty. Good amounts of cheese, sauce, pepperoni, and grease. :) I don’t usually eat the bones, but I ate all of it tonight. Crust is both crispy and chewy. Excellent pizza and very friendly server. I’m only here for a week, but if I come back I will make it a point to stop back in.

Absolutely wonderful pizza. There chicken bbq is tops but I always get green peppers on it. I love their sauce on the regular pizza as well. The only thing I suggest is that they don’t have the focal point of their restaurant as the television. It makes eating in the restaurant difficult if you want to converse with your table. I want to visit with my friends and family over our food but instead the television is blaring a game. So we always get the food to go. I would love to eat there but don’t because of the environment. Edited. I have removed a star due to service. If you go to eat in, go in the back to get away from the TV but also expect a wait. My last visit took over an hour to get our food. It took 30 minutes to get the drinks. Definitely don’t go if it’s your lunch hour or make sure you call ahead to order.

**LOCALBUSINESS** I’m a fan of their New York style pizza. Simply stated. Their sauce wasn’t too sweet(which I find to be common around here), and the crust has some density to it with a small amount of give. You felt like you were chewing a pizza, not munching on a cracker. Some people love the cracker crust, but I’d much rather have a crust more like bread than a saltine. They’re located in the downtown area, close to Revolver. It’s not the classic New York slice, but I still enjoy it over the common pizza chains.

Joey Fratello’s brought fresh, New York style pizza to Findlay. Their pizza offers a perfect crust(crusty on the edge, chewy & fold-able in the middle), a tangy sauce and 100% fresh toppings. We get their pizza as take-out, but they have a dining room as well. I’ve always felt that Findlay needed a good pizza place, and since opening in 2007, Joey Fratello’s has filled that void!
