This place has the best hommus I have ever tasted. The chicken over hommus was the most tender I’ve ever tasted. The rice was beautifully colored to a nice yellow hue, and topped with sliced almonds! I had many things here, but the one dish that stood out the most was the Greek spinach pie. Flakey, buttery, and cheesy. Beautifully made and adorned with a kalmata olive. The lamb and vegetarian stuffed grape leaves were superb! Lovely lemon taste to the salad before the meal, and the pita bread was freshly made and very fluffy! Love this place and everything about it.

I had to go to this place twice before I could get a really good feel for it. And my review is sort of between 2 and 3 stars here. First time at restaurant I had a souvlaki sandwich. Meh– okay but not great — a bit small and was that really a dill pickle inside?!~?!. Needed some more creativity to wow me. Second time around I had the lamb Gyros and they were good. Meat well cooked and tender, nice sauce. I had it with the rice(frozen veggies and a few toasted almonds) and a salad. It was good but not something that I’d serve at my wedding if you know what I mean. Would I go back? Yes absolutely. Restaurant is quiet and clean and the servers are great. Would it be an essential stop on my next trip to Findlay? Perhaps not. Oh and what’s with the saran wrap around the pita bread pieces in the Hummous appetizer? Strange.

Delicious! Was unsure how this would be being in a small city, but exceeded our expectations. We ordered multiple appetizers, including fattoush, taboule, lentil soup, falafel and kibbe. My least favorite was the falafel. For main dish, I had the mixed kbob plate and it was very tasty ! The meat was tender and juicy. The food came out warm and the staff was very friendly. We’ll be back !

My favorite restaurant in town! The sandwiches are incredible and cheap. Their hummus is to die for! Try the shwarma, tawook or gyro sandwiches.

First off, this was my first experience of Mediterranean food so I can’t say whether or not it was authentic. We began with grape leaves and to play it safe, jalapeño poppers. I absolutely loved the grape leaves stuffed with lamb and rice and something that gave them a wonderful tang. The jalapeño poppers were standard but they were fresh. At first we thought the entrees were somewhat pricey but we didn’t know that they included a soup or salad and french fries or rice. I had the lemon rice soup and my boyfriend had chicken noodle. Again I loved my soup as it was tangy. We could tell that the chicken noodle was homemade and not from some can. I had an entrée including a ground lamb stuffed pita, hummus and rice. My entrée was actually my least favorite part of the meal but I was already ridiculously full and I did pick something that sounded safe. I am a huge lover of hummus and there hummus was alright being creamy with a light lemon flavor. My rice was almost cold and the flavor was wasn’t really there but it was fully cooked. Nothing about my entrée really made an impression. My boyfriend had the lamb gyro and he loved the gyro meat but stated the flavor of the meat was thrown off by all of the romaine lettuce. We both loved the cucumber sauce! The service was super friendly! The atmosphere was clean and the booths were comfortable. Having a Greek radio station on was nice and added to the experience even though I had no idea what they were saying. I would return and try a more adventurous entrée.

My favorite spot in Findlay. Shrimp galaba is my favorite dish — stir-fried shrimp with veggies, seasoned perfectly. Always served piping hot.

Good food but overpriced! Have tried the chicken kabobs, tabbouli, hummus and pita chips, house salad, greek salad, beef ghalaba, and chicken shawarma wrap. Thoroughly enjoyed the hummus, pita chips and the chicken wrap but everything else was just«ok». The chicken wrap and hummus are my favorite and worth trying. I prefer going for lunch since the lunch prices are far more reasonable and have also been able to order the lunch sandwiches at dinner time!

This place is one of my favorites. I would go there much more often if my kids would eat there. I love the chicken shwarma sandwich. The garlic sauce is amazing and will give you garlic breath for a whole day! Their greek salads are crisp and fresh with just enough lemon dressing. My husband always get a gyro. They are different from a county fair gyro. The meet and vegies are fresh and the sauce is tasty. The wrap is lighter than a normal pita and they sear it a bit giving it great flavor. I hope this place stays in Findlay. For $ 4 I can can get my shwarma sandwich made with ingredients way more natural and fresher than what is across the street at Taco Bell.

This place was average in many ways: décor, service, taste. Nothing special but not bad either. Better than some food court Mediterranean food at least.

We are frequent fliers here. Good food, good value. Love the vegetarian grape leaves and soups(both crushed lentil and lemon rice soup). The house tea is a treat, and the baklava is divine. Service is always friendly and prompt.

Truly wonderful food and good staff. A jewel in findlay and very unique. For about 9 bucks-ish a person get the family style served party platters and you will jave a feast including their excellent humus, grape leaves, fullafils, tabuli/fatoosh, rice, lamb, beef, chicken and fries. Their gyros, lentals soup, burgers, shwarma, ayries pita and shish kabobs are phenominal. Completely authentic as compared to my time spent in the middle east! Coffee is super strong and traditional. Good tea and smoothees.

Best place for vegetarians. I like combining the sides as the dinner plates come with huge portions. I love the falafel and the chicken shawarma. Not too fond of the beef here.

Love that findlay has this place. It’s great to get some international cuisine from time and time and this place and Jack n’ Jins are among my favorite. Love the hummus. I know a lot of people aren’t fans of the grape leaves but it’s my favorite appetizer there.

–Local Business Cedar Valley Café is a great local establishment for Mediterranean(Lebanese) fare. The restaurant is cozy, very clean, and staffed largely by family members of the business who are very friendly and work hard to provide great service to their customers. Between work and college, our family spends a great deal of time in Toledo where there are many Lebanese and Mediterranean restaurants to visit and compare. The food quality at Cedar Valley is excellent and the prices are very reasonable, particularly given the portions they provide. It would be hard to say which dish I like the most because I like them all! As a courtesy they do provide some typical American dishes for your kids if they haven’t yet developed a culinary flair in their food tastes(such as chicken strips and fries). But this isn’t their specialty. It’s not meant to be gourmet. It’s meant to provide you a choice if someone in your group doesn’t like foods outside of typical American food. It’s what the majority of all restaurants serve for this purpose. Highly recommend this restaurant. Great food, great people!

Fattoush, falafel, tabouli, shwarmas, lemon rice soup, kabobs; happy, happy, happy me. I’ve never gotten much farther than this on the menu because these items are tops on my list. Others around the table often try other things and we’ve never had a bad experience. Our most recent visit, over Labor Day weekend, was to celebrate my guy’s birthday, which was the first time we’ve had dessert at Cedar Valley, but it will not be the last — the strawberry cake was fresh and light. If you are looking for fresh, made-in house middle-eastern fare, this is the only place in Findlay to go, and they do it at very reasonable prices. If you are looking for a cheap burger and fries, or chicken nuggets, there are several drive-thru burger dumps nearby to cater to you. My only issue is that I only get to go once or twice a year because hubby and live so far away — this place is a «yes please» for our visits to area to see relatives that live nearby. I’m already thinking about the next visit…

My family lives in the area, so when we visited this time, my grandmother insisted on taking us to this restaurant — one of their favorites. It wasn’t terrible — the humus was yummy and the rice was a-plenty. But it is strange for me to be in a place that is both«Lebonese» AND«American». I can’t get over the waiter asking if we wanted«rice or fries?» with our entrees. What? In all, the flavors were okay, and I would probably eat here again, but don’t come expecting authenticity.

**LOCALBUSINESS** Hey! What do we have here? A Lebanese(& American) restaurant in Findlay. At least there are some silver linings after all. With the loss of the Big Jerk and Guru India, I was starting to get a little agitated with this town. Since there is so much American food around here, I flat out ignored that section of the menu. I know it’s there to appease people who may not want something different. Fortunately, I am not one of those people. My dinner started off with the national dish of Lebanon: Kibbie(or Kibbeh or Kubbeh or Kibbe). It was a delightful mix of beef, onion, and bulgur wheat. They were served in the traditional fried, torpedo-shaped croquettes with a cup of yoghurt. Next was a Kafta(Kofta) Kebab served with a side of rice which appeared to be seasoned with saffron and topped with sliced almonds. The kebab was juicy with both the beef and onion flavors coming through without the onion overpowering the dish. I appreciated that. The whole plate was very filling, but I was up for at least one stuffed grape leaf. Oh my, these were the largest I’ve seen in town, and they weren’t bitter at all. Tangy, but not bitter. It also had wonderful aroma of spiced wine on the inside. These were, by far, the best grape leaves to surface in Findlay as of right now. It wasn’t perfect. The dining room was a little tight for all of the patrons. That’s something they’ll need to address when they pay off the costs for the initial construction. The waitress forgot to get the bowl of lentil soup that came with my meal, however I only remembered it after everything was said and done. I would have liked to at least tasted it. That doesn’t seem to bother me too much, though, as I will definitely be going back again.
