The only place in town I go for fresh sushi. Best Sushi I’ve ever had away from a coast line. Period.

I ordered the Spicy Maki Combo for take-out at lunch. The order was ready quickly, and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and freshness of the sushi. It was very good! There is an actual sushi menu in the restaurant, but I did not see it until I was picking up my order. I would certainly recommend this restaurant and will eat here again.

I just don’t understand why so many people continue to tell me that this is the best sushi in Findlay because it really isn’t. After hearing this from several people I just had to try it. Now that I have eaten here I must say that in comparison to tons and tons of sushi restaurants I have eaten at across the country, this would fall into my «it wasn’t bad, but I don’t think I’ll come back» category. ABSOLUTELYNOTHINGSPECIAL here! The menu is ok, the selections ok, but it is just an average place to eat sushi. If you like fusion sushi, perhaps this is your place. If you want super high quality sushi made from some of the best fish I have had anywhere that is prepared more along traditional Japanese lines, then go to Japan West. That’s my opinion after eating sushi hard core for 20 years coast to coast.

Image of urban sprawl sushi officially blown like Bill Clinton in the Oval Office. Get the dumpling soup… and then more dumpling soup. If you have room, and I’m sure glutinous American ass does, have some Yellow tail Nigiri, solid. Alligator roll, meh.

Best sushi in town! If you want sushi, go here. It is fresh and tastes great. The service is top notch and it’s quiet enough to really enjoy the atmosphere.

I’m still trying to figure out why everyone is hyping this restaurant so hard on here. Asian Grill is a middle-of-the-road sushi joint, at best. I’ve been to sushi spots across this great nation, and could never give this place 5 stars. The sushi rolls and sashimi, the three times we’ve been here, have been somewhat small. The fish seems to be mid-grade with a decent flavor, and their drink selection is limited with soda in cans. Taking into consideration that Findlay has a few mediocre sushi joints, realizing that this place is just average is something a true critic would do. What makes it stand out? The ambiance? Nah, it’s dark with terrible disco tunes playing. The cleanliness? Nah, the place seems dirty and when we sat down last time, the table was sticky. In conclusion, Asian Grill is like most other sushi places, and does nothing to stand out. The prices are reasonable and on-par with the competition, but the sushi is nothing special.

Amazing sushi and service. Fresh sushi — I recommend the DJ Roll, spicy salmon or yellowtail rolls, they have a spicy maki combo with 3 or 4 different spicy rolls for spicy lovers, ohio roll is great and many others to choose from. Ginger salad and tofu soup are the best I’ve ever had and I eat sushi quite often. Hot stone bowl is a great option as well. Must try!!!

My friend took me to this place when I came the first time; Then, it was a five star. Their ginger salad was a delight to start off with as well as their tofu soup. The soup was a little salty but it was do-able. We had the spicy beef and it was the best thing I’ve ever tasted. I don’t remember what the sushi we had was but whenever I came in the old adorable server we always had knew. It was deep fried with a nice sauce poured on too. I couldn’t have enough! I came back 2 times in one day the 3rd time I was in Findlay. But to my disappointment, the last time I came they told me they changed the menu. They didn’t have the spicy beef and only had sushi. Although I had my sushi, not as well as I had it before, without my spicy beef it just wasn’t the same. The next time I come, I hope it would be as I remembered the first 3 times I was in Findlay.

I was in Findlay for a swim meet and for someone who has never been to Findlay, trying to find a place to eat without«Pizza» in the name is harder than it seems! I found this place on Unilocal and it had good reviews so I thought I would give it a try. Boy am I glad I did! This was an awesome hidden gem. The food was DELICIOUS and the sushi was fresh. I just did a take out order so I don’t know about the service if you were eating in, but the guy who took my order and checked me out was very nice and wouldn’t even let me tip him for being so helpful. He even directed me to the nearest place to get a phone charger. If I am ever back in Findlay, I will definitely eat here again. If you like sushi and Japanese food, this is the spot.

Recently moved to Findlay from Houston and was looking for a good Japanese or Korean restaurant. Was slightly disappointed at first to see that many of the Korean selections had removed and the menu was now mostly sushi, but when I ordered the chirashi sushi I was blown away. Some of the freshest and tastiest sashimi I’ve had outside of Japan. I certainly wouldn’t have expected it in a small city like Findlay, but here it is. Also appreciated the high quality genmaicha(brown rice green tea) which is rarely served in your average sushi place. Miso soup and the salad tasted pretty authentic as well. Then, before I left, the serving lady gave me a 10% discount card to use whenever I dined there, so I think I found a new favorite restaurant in Findlay!

A great choice for sushi or hot Asian dishes. When living in Findlay, we would make a trip here about once a week. The prices are very reasonable, and the service equally good.

I feel the best Asian in Findlay, especially sushi. We loved visiting this place while we lived in Findlay and the pricing is very reasonable. Their main selection of food is very good on it’s own.

For the price this is some of the best sushi around. It’s on par with Hokkaido and about as good as the much more expensive Japan West. Makes for a great date night.

I’ve only been here for sushi, so I can’t comment on the full run of the restaurant, but the sushi is VERY good. Very fresh yellowtail and smoked salmon, beautiful plating, everything was great. It is quite pricey, hence the 4 stars instead of 5, but I’d say it was almost completely worth it. Also the bottled water they serve you is quite good, as somewhat of a water snob(hilarious, I know), I was pleased with it.

A little bit of everything Asian restaurant. Good Korean food. Decent Chinese. The sushi is surprisingly good for Findlay. Don’t be afraid of the sushi just because it is cheap and you are in Findlay — I have eaten it dozens of times and have sampled just about everything and it is always fresh. Dimly lit and cozy, a good local joint with servers who keep you happy — great place to grab some sushi or takeout Asian food when you don’t feel like cooking.

This place could have gotten 5 stars from me(hey, you’re in Findlay, why would you expect to find good sushi!!!) but the two extremely insecure goons working the joint really detract from the experience. I’ll talk about the good first… The salmon sashimi was incredible! Who would have thunk?! The spicy tuna was slathered with masago sauce, which is good, chili oil would have been better, but I ate it up so whatevs! The miso soup was so-so but the ginger salad dressing was great! Now, if I had actually gotten my meal correctly the first time that would be one thing. Any smart server knows to repeat an order for accuracy. My guy didn’t. Wahwah! Watching the goons running around sheepishly became mildly hilarious, but then if they had to interact with me it was truly awkward. Might i suggest the owners hire some pretty girls to work instead? The biggest reason why I think this place is legit is not only because the sushi chef is actually Japanese(important!) but because there were about 8 real japanese dudes getting drunk and eating there!

**LOCALBUSINESS** Asian Grill is my first choice for sushi in Findlay. I won’t wax poetic, but it’s worth at least a try. I pay roughly $ 15-$ 20 when I’m in here, but consider it worth the price. All the times I’ve stopped by, I have had a great experience with the service and the Young’s hammer was spicy enough to be interesting, yet not overpowering. I could enjoy the other ingredients, too. I like that. From what I can recall, the other items I’ve ordered would be the bee bim bop, miso soup, and edamame and have zero complaint on their preparation. It was delicious, and I would definitely go back again.
