This is the best place ever! The best aromatherapy oils in Southern California. Lots to look at, lots to invigorate your senses. Fantastic specialty products, soaps, incense, and so much more. The owner, Janine, is extremely nice and so helpful and will make you a mixture of oils to match any mood. The best patchouli and musk oil you can find! Plan on spending some time there, there’s so much to see. Don’t forget to admire their wonderful personal collection of old medicine bottles too! Can’t wait to go back.

This review is long overdue. I have been ordering from The Scented Path for the better part of 25 years! Of course back then there were no computers(or at least nothing like the commonality of them now) and definitively no Unilocal. I first came across The Scented Path at the The Renaissance Pleasure Fair in southern California where they had a large booth called The Perfumed Dragon. I had bought some perfumed oil(China Rain and Lily of The Valley) because I only wear oils. The alcohol in regular commercial perfumes give me a headache and it seems the only thing I can smell when wearing it is the alcohol. YUCK! I have been mail ordering from them every since. Over the years I have bought perfumes and oils not only for myself but also for friends and relatives. They have a TON of stuff from oils, castile soaps, massage lotions, bath salts and perfumed pendants. This place has EVERYTHING and the owners are extremely friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. They will custom make or blend anything you can possibly think of and all with a smile and friendly attitude. If you don’t know what you want but can describe it they will make excellent suggestions. Recently I moved into a very old building and unbeknownst to me… infested with roaches! ACK!!! After I did some online research on killing and deterring roaches, I decided to go the«natural» route since I have a dog and my apt is only 170sq ft. The use of poisons, powders and chemicals is not a good option for us. I read dozens of reviews from people who had success with Eucalyptus, Cypress, Peppermint and Rosemary oils. So, I called and spoke with Jeannine the owner, she had everything I needed, gave me a great price for it and sent it the same day. I actually got it the very next day! Now that’s fast friendly exceptional service! I have never EVER had a bad or even just mediocre experience with The Scented Path/Perfumed Dragon. I am soooo happy I found them all those years ago at The Renaissance Faire, which I still go to every year and stop by their booth and buy something. Love, love LOVE The Scented Path!

I LOVETHISPLACE! Several years ago I took an unusual smelling English type rose into the Scented Path and the owner was able to match the scent exactly. And better yet she took the time to try. They always have just what I’m looking for.

Neat little shop, in a tiny space put where you can find all kinds of interesting soaps, lotions, candles, herbal supplements, etc. She mixed some lavender lotion for my friend right there on the spot. When you walk in you might not see the owner as she sometimes works in the back and has a little window to look out into the stop through that you might miss if you are not looking for it. The shop was originally part of the theater next door, and the owner told us about some of the history behind it which was neat. Fun little place to stop in for some unique gifts or if something is ailing you, let her know what it is and I am sure she has something for it!

Came upon this place while wandering around Fillmore. Inside is filled to the brim with essential oils, homeopathic remedies, some wonderful soaps etc. They even had some locally produced honey. There were some herbal remedies I wanted to buy buy I had no idea a store like this existed in Fillmore and wished I had my list with me. Next time I will definitely bring it with me. I bought a nice smelling glycerin soap that I can’t wait to try out. I’ll definitely be back.
