I had the best Italian hoagie! In addition the girl who took the order was great and so was the delivery guy. They said 45 min and so prompt! I found a gem!!!

In a big city like Philadelphia you would think good pizza would be easy to find. Well it’s not, in fact I didn’t think it existed. That is until I found this place. This is real NYC style pizza. It’s the perfect amount of sauce with a good dough with the right type of crust. It’s cooked well and delivery is quick easy. We ordered a large cheese pie and it was huge, didn’t stop us from finishing it tho lol. We also ordered a cheesesteak and I have to say it wasn’t very good at all. Not sure how the other Menu items are, but I’d stay away from the steak. Definitely order the pizza tho it’s amazing. We will be ordering from here again.

Oh Zio’s…their pizza is above average compared to other pizza restaurants I have had around the Philly area. I’m a big fan of their pan pizza, which can run out fast since they only have two at a time on display. Their wraps are good too — recommend the cheesesteak or buffalo.
They are by far one of the cheapest places to get your fill of lunch — 2 slices of pizza and a drink for only ~6 dollars. Each slice is big and they warm it up for you in the oven.
This is the go-​to catering place for Temple Podiatry right next door for their club meetings or guest speakers. Overall, giving this place 4 stars for above average quality of food, low prices, and attentive staff!

I am a fan! While this isn’t gourmet pizza, it’s still really good and delicious. The delivery service is awesome and fast. In addition to the pizza, the salad is really good. I would order from Zio over many other options in the city!

What’s with all these mediocre reviews?! Blasphemy.
After trying more pizza places than I’d care to admit, Zio’s has officially earned the title of best pizza in the city in my book. And they deliver to me for the FREE! AWESOOOME!
We think that this is a family affair, and the people that work here (own it?) are so nice… so much nicer than other pizza joints in the area, so how can you not want to support them?
My go-​to pizza is the Primavera: spinach, tomatoes and ricotta. There’s also gotta be some garlic in there… Maybe it’s in the sauce, I don’t know, but it is damn delicious. The creamy sauce that is created by the co-​mingling of the ricotta and the tomatoes… I’m salivating thinking about it. And I love their crust!
Their lunch special, if you can make it over there, is a total steal. 2 slices and a drink for 5 bucks?! Why isn’t this place by my office?!
Anyway, Zio’s, you have my pizza-​loving heart. You’re affordable, friendly and tasty. What more could you ask for?

Ordered take out from here the other day. We ordered a calzone, cheese fries, and wings. The wings were not very good, they were really small and not very tasty. Not sure why but I cannot find one decent delivery place for wings!
The cheese fries were pretty good, nothing special.
The calzone was ok also. Nothing great but not bad.
Not sure if I would order again or not. I definitely would not order the wings. But i would try the pizza, there seem to be a lot of good reviews for that.
Delivery took about the normal time and the delivery guy was friendly. No complaintis there.

Ordered two different kinds of wings and some cheese fries. Wings were way over fried, not nearly enough sauce.
Cheese fries were okay, really hard to mess those up.
Won’t be going back here.

This review is for the chicken cheesesteak. I have had a surprisingly difficult time finding an excellent chicken cheesesteak in Philly. Many of the pizza places around me throw chunks of grilled chicken into an amoroso roll and decide that cutting the grilled chicken up means that it’s no longer a grilled chicken sub. I have legit come across a place that boils their chicken, shreds it and throws it into a roll. Disgusting! The chicken cheesesteak is perfectly seasoned moist shaved chicken with the perfect amount of cheese and always fresh, slightly chewy rolls. The default cheese is american, but they can substitute anything you want. They also have very good, very cheap cheese topped garlic knots.
The bottom line is that if you want an excellent chicken cheesesteak that is not just chunks of chicken thrown on a bun, this is the place to order from.

In our ongoing pursuit to find just the right basic pizza pizza in Phila. we had high hopes that Zio would be the One. The on-​line ordering was a breeze, in a follow up call to confirm the order was received the woman who answered was extremely kind and helpful (how can you NOT love someone who calls you ‘hon’?)
The Greek salad was very good, the chicken wings were very good — but the pizza was just so. Too bready of a crust, too sweet tomato sauce, ok tasting cheese but not great, canned mushrooms (which can be preferable to fresh if served undercooked) and mild tasting pepperoni. So all in all a C– grade for this pie. B+ for everything else.
And since the driving force is a great pie, out quest continues…

This location has been victim to previous pizza shops but it looks like Zio is here to stay. The food is excellent and the service is quick. It can be a little pricey but when you’re talking about good food and good service, I don’t mind paying a little extra. The slices are plentiful and the salads are loaded. Definitely a good place to get something quick.

Really good pizza. I was suspicious being in Chinatown but so good! Really fair pricing. They deliver to northern liberties (quickly). I would say its most similar in style to Lorenzo’s. we are pizza snobs. Love bedia, nomad, etc. but if you want a really good traditional pizza with sweet sauce at fair prices. This is it. Oh. And we ordered online from a cab and it came minutes after walking in our front door. A bonus

Their pizza is so fresh! I have been a fan of their veggie pizza since the start. It’s like a mediterranean salad on a pizza, with feta cheese, olives, spinach, etc. Buffalo chicken with a side of bleu cheese to dip, YES! And I do love their BBQ chicken as well. Their salads are yummy. If you order a wrap, best to call it in. Zio’s gets really packed and the Verizon company next door has infiltrated and has made lunch hour really packed.

By no means am i Italian or a pizza expert, however I think this pizza is pretty darn good! The best I’ve had in Philly! I’d literally crave it and ask my bf if we could have it for dinner about once a week. It’s also really cheap and they deliver so that’s awesome in my book.

i go to the school right next door (temple podiatry) and let me jsut say 70% of their business probably comes from us haha.
their pizza is so good! yet so bad :(. so good because it is so cheesy, salty, greasy and wonderful. so bad bc it is so cheesy, salty, and greasy.
my favorite pizza there is the meat lovers!!! i maybe biased bc i just love meat…
i have yet to try their fried chicken, but a fellow classmate says its good.
they cater!!! i eat their pasta like every week… i couldnt tell you a favorite bc i love it all. when you get catering you get a different trays of pizza, salad, garlic knots, and soda.
garlic knots are your best friend, but your enemy –_​-​. these things are so freaking good… but you will be so stinky. hours later and your breath STILL smells like garlic. but they are just so irresistible :(
the secretary at my school keeps telling me they have soup. she eats it everyday… but every time i go they always run out! hopefully i will catch them at the right time that i can eat this soup…
(btw they have a punch card for the pizza. i think every 10 you get a free slice? so make sure you get one!)

Ordered some food for a post Labor Day dinner.
Cheese fries with le bacon hit the spot.
Chicken park sub was good … Served with chicken chunks … Not cutlets. But on a nice fresh crust roll.
Philly cheesesteak was surprisingly decent but still doesn’t hold a candle to Philly’s Best in Chicago.
Also ordered a Sicilian slice … But they must not have had a fresh one. So instead of calling to let us know … The sent to cheese slices with extra cheese on them. In regards to the price point it was appreciated but a little heads up would’ve been nice.
