This Wawa depresses me. Don’t like the loiterers accosting me. Not a big fan of the clientele at this location. Came here once and someone asked me if I worked there, I don’t and then the same person asked me if I have change on me when they’re in line to pay. Seriously?! The cashiers are pretty efficient, but I feel like the food/drink makers are a hit and miss. Came in late at night once and it wasn’t even busy, but it took them ANHOUR to make my turkey sandwich. It’s a shame I already paid for it, otherwise I would have walked out. During the day, however, the workers seem to be on top of things. I just wish this location and the people were less sketchy.

I had to run some errands in center city last night. Before heading to where i needed to go, I decided to stop by wawa to pick up some mac n cheese. The last few time i had it, i thought it was pretty good. This time i decided to order a medium size container of Mac n cheese I couldn’t wait to get home to eat it. Man, Was I in for a surprise when I got home. When I opened up the container, I noticed that it was only ¾ of the way filled! I was somewhat pissed off! Felt like I got rip off!!! I’m very disappointed in you wawa! You ruin my night!

How awesome to find a Wawa in the city? No surcharge ATM and after youre done dining in Chinatown. you have the convenience of grabbing a coffee and then stopping over at the Reading Terminal for dessert.

Crowded and under-staffed. Their selection and customer service is very good, though. My Gobbler(bangin by the way) was ready right away last night.

Great selection right downtown. Customer service really friendly and helpful. Wish they would get A WaWa in South FL soon. Great run in place. This is nice that it right in the middle of all the place I have to run to when I’m here in town.

Crowded and surrounded by loiterers who make you feel unsafe as you leave. Had a very sub-par bowl of soup and thai salad here and definitely won’t be back. I guess the best thing about it is the fact that its adjacent to the convention center and directly across from the HIlton. Otherwise, I wouldn’t go there if it weren’t a matter of necessity.

This place is only good for lottery tickets. I was so disappointed with Wawa this time that I got a Unilocal account just so I could complain about it – Wawa has no means for customers to voice complaints, so this is all I get. Once again(and for the LAST time) I ordered an meatball sandwich at this place. I left off the spinach I would have wanted since I know the drones there habitually just lay the leaves on top so they fall off the sandwich once you get it home. i wanted meatballs and cheese — that’s all. What did I get? I got a sloppy, sauce-laden, soggy, mess. Wawa needs to train its employees and instil them with the idea that you should ask yourself this when preparing food for paying customers: «Would I eat this myself or give it to a dear friend?» If the answer is NO, then DON’T SERVEIT!

I work right around the corner, so I always find myself running here for a quick lunch if I forget one, or if i need to grab any last minute groceries on my way home. Let me start off by saying, I don’t ever expect brilliance to come from any of the wawa hoagies, I know that I am dealing with pre made foods. What I am basing this on os my experience as a customer. Somehow the counter and deli people are always just a tad rude, and food always takes at least five minutes, regardless of if there is a line or if it was simply a scoop of Mac and cheese. I am sure this location has to put up with its fair share of crazies, but for those of us who aren’t: Smile a little!

This is a review of the coffee only. One of Philly’s finest recommended this Wawa as a better place to get coffee than the Reading Terminal Market. I don’t know that it’s better, but it’s cheaper and it’s not bad coffee. If you’re attending a conference at the convention center and you’re looking for something a little more direct than the Reading Terminal Market, this Wawa works. It’s also pretty amazing how extensive the coffee station is. They’re ready to sell gallons of coffee very quickly and they do a good job. And of course, Wawa is a convenience store so you can stock up on all the other stuff you’ll need if you’re in town and working an event next door.

Well, since I moved right up the street, I guess I have to claim this as my wawa now. Whether I like it or not! Feel free to order up from the screens, it’s a safe bet and normally doesn’t take too long. Pretty standard smaller wawa, no issues. I have to say, this place is always crowded! Don’t mind the bums outside, they’re harmless and only ask for change every time you walk in! Don’t be alarmed, but I did just see a rat run into there and start hiding behind the ATM last week!

Boyfriend and I are obsessed with WaWa so were pumped to see one right across the street from our hotel. I generally love their selection of goods and their deli foods, but thats not what we got here. Here we stopped in the mornings to get their Pumpkin Spice coffee, YUM! It is extremely tasty, better priced than the Starbucks version, and they have some good things on their coffee bar(many different milk/cream options, honey). Though I usually put cinnamon on my coffee and wished they had that. But Wawa is the best, I prefer it to 711 and any other gas station or convenience coffee place like Starbucks and you can also get good meals there. Yay Wawa! I’m a big fan.

First time we had seen a Wawa without a gas station attached. It was convenient to our hotel across the street to get coffee, breakfast, snacks. ATM with no fees inside is nice. Area gets a bit shady after dark — we ran into numerous beggars.

I stopped by this location during the storm and it was crowded, as could be expected from this location. I really couldn’t find things very well so I just ended up buying a double mocha cappucino from the refrigerated case and went out the door. It’s surprising that this location is stuck with the mildew-y look outside. If someone would pressure wash from there to Market Street, it would look a lot better. It could use some lights during the day, too. Still, this is Philly and Wawa and it works. I think everyone is desensitized to the ugliness by now. Maybe, it’s just that the hoagies and iced tea have got them under Wawa’s spell. I wish they had stores nationwide, so I could always get what I want.

I love Wawa, I love Wawa iced tea. I love the convenient location of this particular Wawa. Every time I visit Philly, I stop by this Wawa and stock up on iced tea. I am not joking, I literally stock up. The employees must think I am insane judging by the amount of bottles I dump on the counter before heading back to the fridge and grabbing even more. This location is on the smaller side but you need to remember that it’s in a city and surrounded by other businesses. This doesn’t allow for much room. However, they do have everything your standard Wawa includes, such as hoagies, Tasty Kakes, drinks, coffee, and fresh fruit. Take that, 7 – 11! This Wawa has seen me at my not so finest moments. But each time I have rolled in here with my hair a mess and only wearing pajamas, they have taken great care of me and have offered a great selection of food and drinks.

Everyone goes to Wawa. We go there for everyday things. Every Wawa carries the same stuff. Same old sandwiches, same old soups, same old snacks, same olé drinks, same olé weak ass coffee. Last week after going to The Troc, I stop by Wawa for A cup of coffee And something sweet. And in that doughnut cupboard thingy I saw a red velvet cupcake with a smear of sour cream icing. I was very happy And overjoyed to see it. The cupcake was delicious And it has a sour cream filling that spoke to me. At 1 dollar 49 cents, it was speaking my language!

This is where I used to go after a show at the troc everytime. Its known as the WORSTWAWA in existence. A few things are guaranteed about this Wawa. 1. Dirty 2. Someone will ask you for your change when you enter/leave Unless I am in the area and have nowhere else to go, I opt for any other wawa in the city.

Wawas are all pretty much the same, but some are nicer than others. This is my local Wawa, and unfortunately it’s one of the more ghetto in the city. It’s proximity to the Troc, the convention center, and the bus station adds to the more than usual bums and shady crowd. I often go there for a cheap hoagie, but it’s really hit or miss. Initially Ai Ling would always make my sandwich. She is quick, and always makes me a filled, clean hoagie. Then, they switched on me, and I never realized how unsatisfying a hoagie could be. Any other time I’ve gotten a different person it’s been inconsistent slop. They end up putting one red pepper on it, or no onions, or simply don’t cut it in half. I would recommend that if you see Ai Ling you request she make your sandwich, especially if it’s very customized. If you don’t see her just leave(unless it’s late at night and you’re starving).

Ah, yes, the Chinatown Wawa. It’s a Wawa folks, so it’s got smokes, drinks, junky snacks and most everything you need in a pinch. This one is usually crowded(right near the bus station and the Gallery) and a little grungy.
