I’ve literally been coming here since I was a kid and the owner still remembers my name and always asks how I’m doing whenever I pop in to get a cheap drink or a snack. They do sell Chinese groceries, but since coming here, I’ve only gotten their drinks(like water, Arizona’s, Gatorade, Asian drinks), ice creams(like you’d get from an old school ice cream truck), and snacks(American and Asian). I always come back because of how cheap everything is and I just love supporting local businesses that don’t thrive off of being a big chain because they work hard at what they do and they do a great job at it as well! If you every want to just get some cheap drinks and snacks(snacks under or about $ 1 and drinks under $ 1.50) then stop by this little corner store in Chinatown! ***Note: They only take cash here!

This is your local friendly street corner convenience store. I remember it used to be really small whenever I came here with my mom as a kid. With its latest renovation, it’s slightly more roomy(but still small.) My mom would come here for her groceries but I would come here with my little brother for the snacks. The snacks are still cheap(and probably the ONLY place that I can find ketchup chips nearby, I hope they never stop selling them). There’s always a strange but awesome variety of stock. The lady behind the counter is friendly. Very convenient place for whenever I feel like getting something to munch on for less than a dollar.

I remember coming here as a child when I used to live in Chinatown. Grandmom would take me here so she can get her groceries and I would end up with a hershey ice cream cone. Ahh… those were the good old days. Years later I still come here with grandmom to buy some groceries and place is still the same as 30 years ago. I no longer get an ice cream cone for I dont eat much ice cream anymore lol but they still have it. This is the best place for chinese sausage or dried cured pork belly. They still get their supplies of that from New York. Theres not much fruit if any at all and they carry some veggies. But usually they have the stuff that bigger markets dont have, like preserved olives and dryed oysters for New Years celebrations. The place isnt fancy just to warn you, just your corner family store. They’ve been a staple in Chinatown for years and they’ll be there for many more! Happy Eatings!!!

This is a really random, mom-and-pop small grocery store that is stuffed from shelf to shelf with food and related items. It’s kind of like a Chinese food surplus/overstock store type of thing — if you’ve been to one of those stores that sell surplus organic food or whatever you’ll know what I’m talking about. The stock varies from week to week depending on what the owner can get cheap that week and their prices are usually slightly cheaper than everywhere else. It’s a good place to get rice, ramen, candies and other random, dry goods. Just don’t expect a large selection.

Wow, I guess I’ll be the first person to write a review of this place. First of all, my memories of this tiny, cramped, mom-n’-pops grocery store in Chinatown go wayyy back to grade school, when we used to come by after school and push and shove our way to the chips or candy or popsicle sticks. We used to save our dimes and quarters so we could get treats from here. My mother would also come here to buy newspapers and noodles and other various things for the kitchen. The store is owned by a small family and has been serving the C-town community for years and years… I remember when they used to use an abacus to ring our stuff up… they might still do. I guess this review is more nostalgia-fueled than anything, but I’ll be sure to come here if I’m ever in C-town and want a light refreshment and a blast from the past.
