The facility is great but the services are a little pricey. They give you access to the facility m, for the day, when you have an appointment though. Heated indoor pool, gym, steam room and sauna, and showers. They have padded massage bed with heat pads. This is a good place to go when you want to really treat yourself!
Used there shower to clean up after spending the day there — great water pressure and it gives hot water quickly! Loved the dry sauna and heard from a few clients that the steam room produced a ton of steam. Great place to go for a day of relaxation and pampering!

I had the most and best experience today, first my lower back was killing me and Lilla was magical with her hands, she really worked my tired sore muscles, a real healer
Then off to see Kin, for a facial, and I am telling you the best, most, Natural lash extensions. I’ve had lash extensions done here in Phila, and also in two other cities, but never did my lashes look this on point. And my skin is so clean, tight, and smooth. I also have had facials at another spa here in Phila, but I just love this place so much
And it is oozing with talent, real pros who love what they do

I had a wonderful experience here when I saw Natalie for the HydraFacia this week… she was very knowledgeable about the process and I left with my skin looking and feeling amazing. The spa itself is gorgeous — with many amenities for clients to take advantage of including a pool, gym and beautiful relaxation room. I am ready to book my next appointment!

I am writing specifically to make sure everyone goes to seen Kin if they ever are interested in eyelash extensions. I consider myself a connoisseur of this service as I have been getting eyelashes for almost three years now and have been to a number of different salons. Unfortunately, I recently moved and you really never know how fantastic someone is (and I knew Kin was amazing) until you look far and wide and never find her equal. Please trust me, if you want this service (and you do), there is no one better than Kin.

Love, love, love this place… Kin does my eyebrows there… She is the best! After my treatment I use their facilities, steam room, dry sauna, workout facilities, pool… then I have lunch on their deck, a salad & some prosecco, outside looking over the city… there is no better way to relax than this! :)

Outstanding salon and spa. Best I’ve seen. Also best colorist Erica — she is a master at covering gray hair. Lashes and facials, Kin is the hands down greatest aesthetician. Nails and brows, go to Kim Brady — there is none other. Massage — Eric is your guy. Douglas in the salon is a key addition making every visit so welcoming. All experienced professionals in an amazing environment. The spa waiting area is tranquil and perfect. Try a spa service and have lunch by the pool and roof deck. I did, loved it. One of my favorite places in Philadelphia. Go.

Uhm… if you have oodles of money just laying around and want to pay 65 $ for a basic health trim while drinking bubbly, go crazy. Otherwise, there are better places in center city.

My husband whisk me off to the Spa for our 20^th anniversary on Feb 15.
He scheduled us for a couples massage and the head to toe package.
Let me just say WOW, the masseur MARIA, was amazing, her hands, personality, and attitude, perfect. The room was warm, romantic and the vibe hit the mark. We were transported back to when we first fell in love. The Relaxation Lounge is the ultimate chill, unwind, rejuvenate space; the furniture, colors, ambiance, snacks, service perfection. The home made granola bars, tea selection and honey To Die For.
My husband received a pedicure from KIM. His feet are gorgeous now, he had really ugly feet before. Kim made him feel so comfort and she was so sweet.
And if that wasn’t enough we had access to the Pool, Ladies Changing Lounge (only for ladies), Sauna, and Steam Room they were top notch.
I can’t wait to go back. The renovation is impressive and the new management know what they are doing.

Don’t be fooled! This place looks nice and is brand new– but there are some major problems that a spa like this shouldn’t have for the price that they charge.
As someone who has experienced high and low end spa services all over the country and internationally– these were the major issues I had:
Our check in experience was uneventful– but then again we were the only ones there.
The aesthetician who did my facial and massage was good. I would not say it was the best massage and facial I’ve ever had, but it certainly wasn’t horrible.
I wanted to take a warm shower following the massage and facial. The water in the showers was freezing! It totally ruined the experience.
There were also children running around the locker room and no private rooms to change. Not relaxing!
Finally, at check out– the front desk staff were seriously lacking in training. We checked in without any issues but at check out they were unable to process a gift card I had and check out took about 15 minutes when there was no one else in line.
The bill was $ 385 for 2 services– this was expected, however, this was a terrible price for the quality of services and overall experience.
The following day I called the manager to express my dissatisfaction with the experience– highlighting the specific issues of freezing cold showers and unpleasant locker rooms, poor service, among other things. She apologized and offered me (and the friend who came with me) a free express facial. When I told her I was NOT interested in returning she offered 20% off our bill which I accepted. Given the fact that this place charges 40% more than almost any other place in town and wants to consider itself «one of the best spas in the world» I thought 20% was actually pretty lousy– but it was better than coming back and being disappointed again.
Of course the manager confirmed my email address and information to process the refund and here we are 3 weeks later with NO follow up email and NO refund!
Again, this place looks nice and definitely has a lot of potential– but they have some major problems to work out until they will even be the best in the city, much less «best in the world.»
I won’t be coming back!

I’ve been getting haircuts from Brittnay for over year and she’s great, open to feedback and real perfectionist. If that’s not enough, you get a glass of scotch with your haircut!

They recently renovated and the space is really nice. They had flavored water, hot tea, apples and homemade granola bars in the peaceful lounge where you waited. The robes were nice and plush, and you get access to the steam bath and sauna.
The reservation system doesn’t work that well. My friend and I used the online system and I called to confirm my understanding of the times available for us, but they moved her appointment because the masseuse wasn’t actually available (though she successfully booked it online and the person I spoke with said that there were two spots available).
I got a massage from Janine. It was fine.
I didn’t like how there was a large digital clock in the room. It wasn’t very soothing to see it and realize that I paid for a 60 minute massage but got a 50 minute one.

The space itself is beautiful and elegant, and is probably the nicest salon space in Center City. Extra bonus points for a hot cup of coffee upon arrival. Erica is my color expert and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to color my locks. I also (reluctantly) had my brows shaped here. Brow shaping can be a bit scary, but Kim did an excellent job.
Side note: I only gave 4 stars because I didn’t think the front desk staff was very friendly.

The new spa at The Rittenhouse Hotel was beautiful. My massage therapist was Jenny and she was amazing. I would highly recommend Jenny if you visit this spa. I don’t typically like to pay spa prices for a massage every month, but I will do it for Jenny. She was able to release all of my tension while still making it a relaxing experience. That is hard to find. The front desk still has some kinks to work out, but the spa itself is great!

I got my hair cut here and it was awful. She failed to trim the back. The top was poorly done and there were forgotten strands sticking out everywhere. There still are. She had no idea what she was doing. I have never gotten a cut this bad. I even came back the next day for her to fix it and she only made it worse. I’m going to Groom on Tuesday to see if they can mitigate the damage. Im at a loss for how this kind of place can have such terrible talent.

So glad this Salon opened! My favorite stylist Anna is here. Been following her through her years at Pileggi, now to have her in this beautiful environment is too exciting. Her color is unsurpassed and the Salon is so inviting.

Spent a few hours on a Saturday for a hot stone massage — beautiful settings — brand new facilities. I was able to use the locker rooms which have steam and sauna. Very relaxing afternoon — almost felt asleep, the massage bed was super comfortable!

Great color by Erica. Lovely venue within the Rittenhouse Hotel with an extensive service menu. It’s my go to for color at the moment but likely will be for the spa in the future.

Great place for men’s haircuts. Roxy Brennan is a wonderful stylist and does a great job with my hair. They also have a full service salon for women with spa and makeup services.

Honestly the best massage I have ever received. Janine has magical hands and a wonderful vibe. Her micro muscle manipulation was flawless and painless. As well as her overall abilities in the art of massage. I felt like marshmallow floating on a cloud by the end of our 90 minutes.
The spa itself is luxuriously beautiful and all staff was polite, professional and attentive.
The only thing I would say, for the «negative» column is that personally I feel a spa should smell like spa. To me, a true spa should indulge my other senses and have a lightly scented atmosphere of essential oils transcending one into the mode of relaxation. A preference that can be easily remedied…
