The Grille at the Reserve

Its a hotel restaurant. You spend your time here if the weather is bad or your just to tired to go to a real restaurant. I ate here and survived. I’d do it again if I had to. It is an ok place.
However, if your staying here, the manager’s reception helps take the edge off.
The breakfast is also a good deal.

This is the kind of place you eat at if your here on business, or you are stuck here due to the city closing down due to the weather, or if your flight is delayed because all the food at the Philadelphia Airport Sucks!
I was expecting worst with only a two star average on Unilocal but honestly the food was OK. I wouldn’t make it a destination stop but if you have to be here it’s safe to get a sandwich or a salad.
For my two meals here I had salads.
For dinner I had a salad with steak. The steak was seasoned nicely and was prepared medium as I asked for. The salad seemed fresh and was very average with those very hard croutons that were like the box kind.
The next day for lunch I had the chicken with strawberries salad. The chicken had a tasty grill taste to it but was slightly dry but not bad.
Both days my husband ate sandwiches and he said they were OK.
Not the best and not the worst.

Food was very good, portions were big, but so was the price. For a cheesesteak, ribs, and a child’s spaghetti it was $ 57. But, for the convenience, we overlooked the price…

The waitress was very nice, but she was really inexperienced. The place was virtually empty and our orders took forever. I couldn’t get a drink. When my steak finally showed up it was burned outside and raw inside. It was the only time I’ve ever sent a meal back.

Certainly not the worst hotel restaurant, but definitely not the best. The sugar seared tuna was too sweet & served with a mushy sticky rice that was overdone.
Others in my party had a burger, which arrived too rare, and the rocket penne, which had some awful sundried tomatoes.
Service needs help. If they schedule a conference, they should make sure they have enough staff.

Really bad! I ordered the «Rocket Penne Pasta», which was supposed to have arugula (aka rocket) and pesto sauce ($ 19). It instead was penne pasta with alfredo sauce topped with some sort of lettuce that was not arugula. The alfredo sauce was very thin and unappetizing. Even the rolls that were served before the entrees were really bad. They tasted stale and funky. I don’t think I’ve had a meal this bad in a long time, especially considering how much it cost.
