Tea Lightenment

This juice bar has a fantastic selection of freshly made juices that they produce with mastication juice machines. They also make freshly steeped teas (loose tea format) and snack foods that are both delicious and healthful. I haven’t been there in quite a while and am due back for another visit. Wishing someone would open up a fresh juice bar in Fishtown/​zipcode 19 125.

Not only is there a solid juice bar in the neighborhood now, but I’ve already had two of the best smoothies of my life there!
The owner is incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I mentioned that I really like green juices (from dark leafy green plants) and she made a point of having some. She also makes her own coconut milk fresh and adds it to the smoothie if you’d like.
The first time I went, I had some sort of strawberry /​coconut milk /​banana /​raw honey combination that was beyond refreshing. There is nothing comparable to the soothing, hydrating effect of fresh coconut milk on a hot sunny day.
The second time I had an interesting blend of spinach, apple, fresh coconut milk, raw honey, and MATCHA powder. It sounds odd, but this one really was divine. The matcha and coconut combined together to produce an incredibly pure flavor.
This juice bar is expensive — most juice bars are — but you are getting so much for your money. Way more than the standard carrot /​apple sugar high combo. I LOVE this place!

I tried again today and it was open! I ordered carrot beet juice and it was delicious. The container — a styrofoam coffee cup — was a bit strange, but the juice was really refreshing.

Awesome lace with great décor, music, very fresh and healthy juice … Teas etc. Will be back
