I had a good experience here. I was looking for a middle eastern market to buy some lamb. They had a good lamb shoulder for me. The price was significantly better than that at a nearby middle eastern market and they offered to cut it up for me. They didn’t have any cardamom, but they helped me look for it and then had me write down the name and said they would get it. I think the business is family run, and the family was from Eritrea, which is fun.

What is up with Super 7? My buddy lives across the street from this joint, so I decided to check it out, hoping it would be 1. super; and 2. 7−11-esque(only SUPER… see #1.) It was not. On the particular day of my visit, I was looking for 3 items for an end-of-summer bbq: lighter fluid, limes, and Solo cups. Super 7 carried none of the 3. No, they DIDNOTEVENHAVESOLOCUPS. Seriously… what is the point of a «convenience» store if you have to leave and try the supermarket down the street? So what DID they have? Not much. Lots of Cat Food, a couple boxes of Cap’n Crunch, lottery tickets, Doritos. The counter is charmingly covered by bullet proof glass, and when I asked if they had lighter fluid, or limes, or Solo cups, the man behind the counter seemed thoroughly confused. They should probably change their name to TOTALLYLAME7, pronto.
