I bought an Amazon Local voucher for a haunted history walking tour of Philadelphia. Cheesy, but maybe fun? I wish I actually got to go on it.
Their online reservation system does not accept the voucher numbers from Amazon Local. There’s a phone number that only goes straight to voice mail and when you leave a message, no one calls back. I tried emailing their reservation email 4 times. It was answered once, where the person asked for my phone number. A week later still no call.
Since I was unable to actually book this tour, I called to get my money refunded. This is easily one of the worst and most frustrating customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time. It may be some type of scam. If you read the Unilocal company reviews in Salem OR, you can see that many others had horrible experiences with this company. My advice is to stay away.
