Spice Garden

This place is extremely racist toward African American males. My close female friend entered the restaurant before I did and was greeted with warm gestures, but as soon as I entered the restaurant, I was greeted with stares of scorn and treated almost as a freak show. We briefly looked at the menu waiting for someone to help. This place is supposedly open until 9:00 PM, but i was told after a minute of looking at the menu that they were closed and it was only 8:25 PM. Warning! Please do not dine at this restaurant. Horrible service

I wouldn’t even give this dump 1 star. The most rudest man I’ve ever met works here. I called up the place to place an order for 20 meat cutlets and they said it would be ready in 20 minutes. So we got there about an hour later. My husband went into pick up the food. They guy told him that no one ever called to make such an order, and what place did we call. My husband comes out to the car and I show him my phone. I still don’t go into the store. He shows the call log and sees how long I was on the phone for. He man tells him to wait and he’ll make the food. So after another 30 minutes of waiting, he comes back to the car with the food. I’m so hungry that I open the package right in the car. The first cutlet I picked up had what looked like clothes fuzz on it. I then picked up about 5 more and noticed this on all of them, like it was embedded into the bread crumbs. I made him stop the car, and I go back into the store myself and place the bag on the counter and request my money back because of powder and fuzz on the cutlets. The man at the counter goes to get my money and throws me a $ 20 Bill. At this I became upset and said you don’t throw money at your customer, he then proceeds to tell me to get out. I became very upset and yelled that you’re not even looking at the food to see what’s wrong with it. The man didn’t even apologize, he just yelling and cursing at me in broken English. I started yelling back to open the food package. He then pulls out a cutlet and sees the fuzz and says that garlic! I said I’m not stupid to not know the difference between garlic and clothes strands. By this time the people working in the kitchen started coming out and just stood there. He the proceeds to tell me that it’s the bread crumb powder, at this I laugh and was like ooh it’s bread crumbs now. The man was just getting louder and cursing at me to get out. I wish I had my phone on me during this whole event to take a picture of the food and of the whole ordeal, but I forget it in the car. Never again will I ever go into this shithole. What kind of mess is going back there in that kitchen? Completely dirty, you have fuzz embedded in fried food. The lack of respect towards a customer shows they don’t care about customer satisfaction. That place should be inspected pronto!

Amazing place. The food is deliciously prepared and one portion is enough for me to have two, sometimes, three meals out of it. The leftovers keep well.
The staff is friendly and attentive and willing to explain everything.

I have never been disappointed. It’s so good that I get the same thing every time I go — chicken curry and rice. The managers are really nice and friendly to me. Quick tip: if you want chicken curry but don’t want the bones — simply asked for boneless as well as mild if you hate spicy (the spicy burns my mouth — I have low tolerance). I would give this place 10 out of 5 if it was possible — because it’s that awesome! Remember it’s only carry out so don’t expect to sit and dine but expect to have some awesome authentic indian cuisine!

The food here is delicious. Sadly it’s not a sit down restaurant but we usually do take out anyway. We ordered the butter chicken and garlic naan bread and were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. Also, pricing is very reasonable. If you enjoy spicy, savory, flavorful dishes, this is the place to go.

We had them cater my grandmom’s 80^th bday… the food was an instant hit! The chicken was boneless and spiced perfectly… it was amazing on the rice!
