Service with Greg and his father are always great. We have had our box with them for over a year and are very happy. We even purchased a used bicycle from them!

These two brothers run a great little business that serves an important need. For 5 years, we used their services, and they continue to send our mail to us in California. Al and his brother are always friendly and helpful and take great care of your packages. Anything that they don’t have or don’t know, they will refer you elsewhere.

The Lattores are adorable. Walking into this shop is like walking into my Nanny’s kitchen. He always recognizes me and we talk about antiques while he makes me keys. His prices are extremely fair for having keys made (way cheaper than Rittenhouse Hardware or the shoe shop on 15^th and spruce). Once he made me keys for one of my properties and told me, «I don’t have the exact key for this, I’m going to try it on this key and if it doesn’t work you bring it back, I’m not going to charge you for it either just incase»
While you are waiting for your keys to be made, or mail, or a fax check the ledge above the cashier you will see all sorts of great antiques like toasters and radios.
This shop isn’t anywhere near where I live, it is close to The Expressive Hand, so I specifically wait to have keys made here, because he does such a good job. I’ve had keys made all over the city, it really does matter how skilled the person is! Especially if you have old doors!
The hours aren’t the greatest, he is rarely open past five, but he is open on saturday!

I have been doing business with the Lattores for five years now, and when I have a day full of running around doing errands or when I am on my way into or out of town for work and I stop in to SHMP, my day is always brighter for having done so. Very nice, accommodating, respectful and courteous. If you need a mailbox or a place to receive parcels, or if you need to send a fax or a FedEx, or if you just need a key made, Society Hill Mail and Parcel can’t be beat!
