I returned to Shake Shack to try the brand new Chick’n Shack sandwich. It’s a crispy chicken sandwich served on the regular potato roll, with pickles and buttermilk ranch dressing. It is heaven on earth. It’s going to be very difficult for me now to go to Shake Shack and have to decide weather to get a burger or the chicken. If you haven’t tried of it yet, make it a priority. It’s a little higher quality than Chik-Fil-A originial chicken sandwich and I consider it God’s gift to us that it is available on Sundays.

Friendly counter service, plenty of seating at 3:30pm on a Thursday. Quick, too. Two single ShackBurgers, one order of fries, two small drinks, $ 20+ !!! Crazy. Nicely seasoned & crisp fries. The burger was juicy, but not sloppy, and not cooked until grey(which some chains insist is for food safety). The bun was a little soft for my taste, but it didn’t fall apart. I couldn’t discern what the shack sauce actually contains, but the overall flavor was really good, if a bit salty. Wish I’d known there’s a «lean» burger, then maybe I’d have gotten a sweet treat instead of a boring full cup of ice with tea poured over it. The window ledges had food chunks on them — gross! Also, so tired of seeing giant flatscreens with sports on(even if they are food-chunk-free).

Shake Shack used to just be a place to get a decent burger. Now, its gone ahead and introduced chicken! Seriously, this Shake Shack location is clean and welcoming. Seating can be a bit limited, especially colder days where you might not want to sit outside. The have a few beers on tap and all the standard shack offerings in an easy to get to(if you live in the city) location. If you haven’t had a shack burger, nothing I’d type would be able to describe it. Better than 5 guys, not quite In-n-Out, check them out to judge for yourself.

I came here with my 3 yo niece and ordered her a regular hamburger and ordered myself the Smokeshack and a side of fries. We went at a perfect time around 11:30am with plenty of seats to choose from. The restaurant was nice and clean and the service was friendly. I enjoyed my Smokeshack. I especially liked the chopped cherry peppers to give it a little bit of a kick. What amazed me the most though was how much my niece loved her burger. She ate the whole burger herself. Usually I have to fight with her to eat more burger and less fries but she hardly touched the fries at all. It was a fun time for me and my niece :)

Shake shack looks like just another burger joint but it’s in the city which always adds a little glamour to the chain and they serve beer. While I know a lot of people prefer to pair their burger with a milkshake I will always take the beer. I chose the chick’n shack– fried chicken, pickles, lettuce and buttermilk herb mayo. I LOVE herbs and mix them with mayo, I’m sure nothing could go wrong — except not being able to taste it. They should add a layer of the mayo on both buns. While the sandwich was on the smaller side, I enjoyed the crunch of the chicken and the fresh toppings. Now I’m looking forward to trying their SmokeShack burger. With a menu including burgers, fries, frozen custard, beer, and wine this is a good casual spot to hit up during the warmer months and enjoy the outdoor seating. FYI — There is a lot across the street promoting $ 15 weekend parking.

I’ve had Shake Shack burgers before and was already impressed by the quality, simplicity, and taste of their food. So when I heard they recently released a chicken sandwich(Chick’N Shack), which is pretty huge news for a chain known for its burgers, I had to try it. And it was fantastic. The fried exterior of the patty is super crispy, savory, and fresh, to the point where I could have sworn there were parts where the fried layer floated above the meat, rather than sticking to it like most fried foods do. The inside was tender and had clearly been marinated or something, because it wasn’t dry at all and also soft and juicy. The bun as usual was buttered and tasty as well. The tangy/creamy white sauce, slaw, and pickles were perfect accompaniments. I was planning to take it to go, but I sat down and ate the whole thing inside the restaurant. The shake, which I ordered malted, was terrific too — black & white(fudge and vanilla custard). Not too sweet, could taste the hints of chocolate and malt along the creamy vanilla. It was Sunday night w/no line, so my food came out quickly too!

After trying Shake Shack ice cream at various events, I decided I needed to finally visit the store and get the full experience. My boyfriend and I visited Shake Shack on a Saturday night around 7. Although there was no wait to put our order in, the seating was limited. There is a big menu displayed on the wall, additional hand held menus can be found by the entrance door. We ordered milk shakes, fries and a burger to split. I was surprised to see the burger served on a regular potato bun, regardless it was delicious. The fries were even better, crinkle cut and crispy. We ordered holiday flavored milkshakes which are sadly no longer in season. The Christmas cookie was delicious. Here are a few of my other favorite things about Shake Shack: –If you are just coming in for ice cream, or «concrete» there is a special express«C-Line.» –The tables are made from recycled wood, like from a bowling lane. –They have a bike club that meets monthly. –There are speicial menu items for your pup! –Oh, and the concrete is delicious!

I know hamburgers take the limelight here, but I gotta profess my love for the hot dog. Perfect crunch, decent bun, interesting flavor. Also scallions? It’s ideal for late at night when you just need a hot dog fast and Shake Shack happens to be down the block… like when you attend a show at Helium. I also ordered a cheeseburger sans tomato, which I put in a Tupperware and brought with me to work the next day. Probably a little weird, but it surprisingly held well despite the grease. I know I also ordered some sort of drink as well, maybe a milkshake? I’ve had them also while not in a happy-daze, so I can absolutely vouch for the authenticity of my statement when I say that I like the shakes at shake shack. Could be wrong about the hot dog, but I doubt it.

One person’s junk(food) is another person’s treasure. Or should I say drunk food? That’s exactly how it went down last night at Shake Shack. We stopped into Shake Shack for a late night bite. My husband and I both went for variations of the hamburger. I wanted mine with cheese without the tomato and ShackSauce. He wanted his without cheese or ShackSauce with the tomato. Another person in our group also ordered a burger, yet ordered it differently from us. A little complex, do you still follow me? Well I was super impressed that the employee at the register took the time and effort to confirm the specific orders. How many times has your burger order been messed up in your lifetime? I can’t even count mine, but I know the number is large. So back to my initial point, I was happy as a clam with my burger. I knew it wasn’t gourmet but the greasy goodness was perfect for a late night bite. My husband was completely grossed out by the greasiness of his burger, perhaps he needed another beverage to help make his late night grub a little more enjoyable. The Shack Shake burgers aren’t gourmet but can hit the spot during an appropriate moment. My food was three stars, but I’ll give it the extra star for excellent service for a fast food joint.

Shake Shack serves my favorite guilty pleasure food. I’ll go out of my way for a meal at Shake Shack whenever I’m in a neighborhood that’s lucky enough to have one. I did just that when I was taking a morning stroll through Rittenhouse Square. There’s one thing I order every time: shackburger with onions and pickles. And it’s glorious every single time. This is literally the greatest fast-food burger in America. It’s packed with flavor, there’s no added grease, and there’s crazy-consistent quality control across locations. Service is friendly and helpful too. What I mix up is the flavor of concrete I have for dessert. These vary across locations, and Philly’s signature flavor is the Center City pretzel — a heavenly swirl of vanilla custard and cinnamon-coated pretzel bits. It doesn’t get much better than that. On top of all that, the prices are low and the vibe is always modern and comfortable. Can’t ever go wrong with Shake Shack, whether it’s in Philly or elsewhere.
