I setup an appointment for a chimney liner estimate. The man I spoke to said he could do 12pm on a Monday, and I agreed to that time. I used personal time from work to be there for the appointment, only to have him call and cancel at the last minute. I was especially annoyed because he was the one that chose that time.

Schlear came to clean my chimney and I new after they left that it couldn’t have been a good cleaning because they only spent 20 minutes at my house and they never went on my roof. I called to complain and they said they wouldn’t come back to my house and re-​do the job. I ended up paying for a second company (american chimney) to come out and provide the same service. It was night and day, they spent over and hour and cleaned from on top of the roof and from inside my house. They also inspected, took pictures inside my chimney and gave me a report on the condition of my chimney. I shouldn’t have gone with the cheapest option the first time, it was a waste of money.
