Some days, you just happen to wander in the right direction. This was one of those days. I set out to have my phone looked at since I was getting a No Sim card issue on it. Had it not been for this issue, I would not have gone outside. I decided while I was out to swing over to get more tokens. This took me close to Drexel park where a number of good food trucks gather. Even though I had a bagged lunch waiting back at my office, I figured I was too close to pass on the opportunity to check out what food trucks were by Drexel Park. I was immediately drawn to Say Cheese, because, well, cheese. I chatted with the chef about options. Everything sounded good, but I landed on a grilled cheese BLT. He made the bacon himself. Spinach replaced lettuce, which was a nice upgrade. The cheese was muenster. It was on rye bread and pressed like a panini. I inquired about sides and was told they had fried cheeseburger mac n cheese balls. The only logical response I could muster up was, «I don’t know how to even say no to that.» I mean, oh my lawd! I could tell the chef was passionate about his food. He was cool to chat with. When the sandwich was ready, he sprinkled what looked like sea salt on it, but it could have been kosher salt. He topped the cheeseburger mac n cheese balls with BBQ sauce and threw me an extra one. I could not get back to my office soon enough. The sandwich — Wow! The cheeseburger mac n cheese balls — Will you marry me!!! Seriously, this was about as good of a comfort food meal, loaded with all the guilt, as you can find. It would be really dangerous for this food truck to be closer to me. I want to try everything they have, and I want to get what I got again, and again, and again. It’s super awesome!
