Good food, great people. The food is good across the board n not just one item. Also its one of the cheaper places in terms of price around here(South Philly). A must try!

This is my favorite place to order pizza and pasta. This is the first menu I grab when someone asks«where should we order from». Unfortunately the past three weeks when I have tried to call I have gotten no answer. Does anyone know if they shut down? Or changed their number? Please Help! I miss this place!

My roommate got the buffalo chicken stuffed pizza, said it was the best she ever had. So, two days later we ordered again. Chicken parm stuffed pizza was pretty good. Mozzarella sticks were great. Was a little disappointed in the mega fries. As you can tell, it was a hangover feast.

After living in Philly for 5 years, I’d just about given up hope that truly good hole-in-the-wall-pizzeria-type pizza could be found here. This place serves up your average NY/NJ pizza, but given that this is located on our side of the B(ig) F(ucking) B(ridge), that’s a pretty strong endorsement. Even slightly cold from the long drive back from South Philly, this pizza is seriously tasty. The crust is thin, the cheese is perfectly salty, there are basil pieces sprinkled throughout, and there’s not too much sauce. A large plain(not that large, but not small either) costs $ 11 and change. Not too shabby. Oh, and the people here are nice too. This place is kind of worth the trip to the deep South(Philly).

Our Italian takeout debate is finally over! Unless we’re both getting hoagies(which is rare, and in that case we order from Cosmi’s), this is the place we use for pizza, hoagies, wings, sandwiches, pasta, or anything else Italian-American your heart desires. You can order online through grubhub, so bonus points for convenience, and delivery is always speedy. Salvatore’s makes a mean white pizza, which has become the pizza du jour for my other half. The crust edges retain the prefect amount of chew along with a hint of garlic and seasoning– they beg to be stolen from E’s plate when he’s not looking. I can’t help myself with bready carbs. I almost always get a hoagie, and they make a pretty decent cheap Italian hoagie($ 5.75 say what?!). Other faves include the turkey club(which comes with the best delivery fries of all time), grilled chicken«Nonna» sandwich, hot wings, and broccoli bites. I’ve also gotten some pretty decent pasta items delivered, particularly the chicken marsala.

I just ordered a small tomato pie & a dozen hot wings, only $ 10.75 and well worth it. The tomato pie was very good and the wings were ok. Keep in mind I’m a self proclaimed wing snob :) In short, this was my first visit, but definitely not my last.

This is literally the best pizza in South Philly. I’m here at least once a week, and probably still would be even if I didn’t live a block away. I’ve also tried their cheesesteaks and salad, which are both awesome!
