Had Sunday brunch here at the suggestion of friends. The place is right in the Italian Market. We strolled around before and after our meal. We had a reservation which I recommend as the place was crowded when we arrived and all tables inside and out were taken. We were greeted and shown the waiting area inside. Old timey feel with church pews and a few chairs. We were seated in 5 minutes close to our reservation. The restaurant is in an old house, or two, connected by walkways and stairs all very cozy and charming. Waiter came right over and chatted up the menu. Tattoos all over some really nice. We ordered and two of us got the Ruth Bader Ginsburg which was a vegan dish, all very healthy and delicious. The other two ordered French toast, I can’t recall the name, and bacon and eggs. My platter was way too much, but for brunch I prefer more than less. It is a fine breakfast place. A bit trendy and many young folk dining. I think we were certainly the oldest folks there but that was fine with us. We came in from Bucks County about 45 mins. A bit far to go for a brunch. But we would come back when in Philly. Mark

Omg! Breakfast here was amazing. We wanted a Sunday brunch place before we left town and we found it. Our kids had the short stack of pancakes, tons of food. Everything is so fresh. If there is a wait, stay, it is worth it.

Brunching runs through my veins. Ok. ok… those veins maybe crowded with, vino, beer and coffee too. These days you can get all those things at brunch too. I met brunch haters and I don’t understand it and I never will. Sabrina’s Tips — get here early — BYOB and my that I mean bubbly and lots of it — Huevos Rancheros are a must My wait might’ve been quick because of Memorial Day Weekend. I swear I waited like 10 minutes. It was just me so that might’ve helped too. The menu here is gigantic! Almost overwhelming when you are use to ten items. The guy behind refilling ice or something was nice enough to offer his assistance with the menu. I was lucky to have spotted the Huevos Rancheros so the decision had been made. He confirmed that it was a solid choice. I liked the painted nautical art work on the walls. The restaurant itself felt like a house. There were various rooms and hardwood floors. And it was almost like every table had a magnum bottle of champagne, being from NY I completely missed the memo! Dratz! Next time I’m brining bubbly for sure. My meal arrived rather quickly. It was enormous! Almost too big. I enjoyed the cilantro cream and the crispy blue tortilla against the gooey eggs and tomato sauce. I found there was a strong taste of oregano but the meal was still absolutely delicious. I had to leave a lot of the potatoes from the bottom. I didn’t want to carry a food baby during my touristy walk around south street. A phenomenal way to start my Philly trip. And a wonderful place to get your brunch on!

Certainly a fan. My partner and I came here for Saturday Brunch and we were not disappointed. Solid selection of food with generous portions and attentive staff. The food is creative, diner/brunch food with a side of super saiyan, read: leveled up. It’s well made, perfectly seasoned, and appropriately priced. I ordered the«Doug Funnie’s Quail Man,» a homage to one of my favorite shows growing up(I still stick my tongue out when I write in my journal about Patti Mayonnaise), and my husband ordered the Juevos Rancheros. Despite my desire to order the Vegan brunch(heard many great things), I opted for the Eggs benedict with extra bacon and avocado. Absolutely loved their hollandaise sauce, which was neither too rich nor salty, and the poached egg was well cooked. I poached some of my husband’s juevos rancheros(see what I did there?), and it was . The home fries were crispy without being burnt, and the jalapeño on top was a nice kick. Yes, the wait’s a bit long, but I highly recommend downloading the«No wait» app. It shaved off at least 30 mins from our waiting time, especially during peak Brunch hours(~11−1). Bottom line: Get ready for a wait, but the food is well worth it.

Sabrina’s is synonymous with Sunday Brunch. Unfortunately, everyone else also enjoys Sabrina’s. If you don’t get there by 11, you should expect at least a half hour of a wait. The one nice thing about Sabrina’s is its BYOB. It’s also probably why they also charge $ 14 bucks for a pitcher of orange juice to go with our champagne. You can’t go wrong with ordering the favorites. We had three people in our party and we all got one of their specials: — Stuffed French toast — definitely the best choice if you prefer the sweet side to brunch. Two huge slices of bread held together by a generous scoop of cream cheese and bananas. — Huevos rancheros — classic dish, eggs were cooked well and comes with home fries. — Barking Chihuahua — a burrito served with chips and home fries. Classic spot in town for brunch and best French toast, but you’ll need to wait to enjoy this top spot

We came to Sabrina’s for brunch this past Sunday and ate outside. We were seated immediately and the hostess was very nice. We ordered the«Doug Funnie’s Quail Man» Eggs Benedict Florentine and the«Rocket Powers Herbivore Shack» Vegan Brunch with Tofu. Our server, Hailey, was extremely nice and helpful. I added bacon, avocado and tomato to my eggs benedict from the recommendation of Hailey and it was one of the best I’ve had. The hollandaise sauce is sweet, yet savory, and the home fries were also very delicious! They also make a mean latte. If you’re going to the Italian Market in the Philly area, definitely check out Sabrina’s for brunch.

Ordered the stuff French toast because it seemed like the most popular. I thought it was too sweet, that was my personal opinion but some people like it that way so to each is own. I loved the home fries and eggs over easy. Oh and their orange juice has pulp. loved it. I want to come back and try other items on the menu.

Hostess was super nice and our server was very attentive the whole time we were there. Our water cup was never empty which is a plus. The food. Was. Amazing. I got the special(something huevos) and it was not what I expected. The flavor combo just exploded in my mouth. Maybe because it was 3 in the afternoon and I didnt eat anything yet so I was starving. The ranch/avocado sauce tasted so perfect. The blue corn tortilla added a great crunch. And the potatoes were perfectly seasoned and cooked! This dish was a pretty view and made my mouth tingle. A must try if you ever go here. Service was great and food was even better!

I was in vacation with my family and other family members from abroad and wanted to find a special place where locals go and God, I did find it! First, the place is very hipster looking and very cute. The menu is so amazing that it’s almost impossible to decide what to get it — I wanted all. The flavors bring you back to memories of your Grandmas special branches. The detail and care they put on the plates are priceless. I highly recommend Sabrinas café but be aware that the wait to get a table can be a torture if you have small kids with you. But what a great breakfast/brunch!

Delicious brunch – huge portions. Gets very crowded — call in your reservation. My dining companion’s Mexican omelette was delicious-mixed with all kinds of good things like guacamole. Great home fries. My burger was top of the line. They graciously substituted a nice salad for french fries. Burger had a kale and cilantro«slaw» on side which was bangin! Bathroom in house that serves as a waiting room for diners needs some attention/cleaning! I would definitely return!

— TIP: Don’t judge them based on the menu they post online. The great stuff lives on their Specials menu. — CON: The line. But it’s worth it. — BOTTOMLINE: For 3 years, I’ve lived 2 blocks from Sabrina’s and never went because of the infamous long wait. After going recently, I realize that the past 3 years have been a missed opportunity to enjoy this top-notch brunch.

One word… DELISH!!! Me and my friend decided to venture here for brunch before making the drive back home! I ordered the French toast with a side of sausage and eggs. The French toast here is perfectly cooked and the sausage is very flavorful. They give you 3 big sausage links split in half which is more than enough! My friend ordered the eggs Benedict and of course I had to steal a bite and it was delicious too. It actually prompted me to get a side of hollandaise sauce and boy oh boy did it kick those eggs up a notch! Lol. As my tip says make sure you download the Nowait app! We «got in line» when we get gathering our things to check out from the hotel room on arch street and by the time we actually got there only one party was in front of us. We were seated in no time and saved approximately 45−60min of idle waiting! Definitely will be back!

HUGE portions!!! BYOB! And super quaint environment. Either download the no-wait app or just come early– before 10am on the wknds in order to avoid a wait. Smaller group(4 and less) if possible. Typical brunch rules unless you wanna wait an hour. :) We ordered the challah French toast, mexi plate with black bean grits, eggs Benedict and egg sammich. Everything was yummy, fresh and huge! We probably could have just ordered three plates but we all wanted different things. I gave it 4 stars because one of my poached eggs ended up being hard boiled — which I wasn’t that picky about– but still– it’s not poached eggs. The environment feels like you’ve walked into someone’s home and waiting for a home cooked breakfast. Love the vibe, the service and that we didn’t feel rushed even though I know there’s a line next door! Would definitely come back!

Had been here once before and didn’t have a great experience, but thought I’d give it another shot to be fair. Unfortunately, this time wasn’t much better. We were a small party of 2 people and our wait time was well over the time they had told us. They should have had a much better idea of the wait time and been honest about it because the difference in a 30 minute wait vs an hour wait would have caused us to go elsewhere. Next, when we were finally seated, we were seated at a table directly in front of the doors. They had 2 side by side doors that the servers kept running in and out of to serve people that decided to sit outside. While it wasn’t a freezing cold day, it was quite cool out and we wanted to be inside where it was warm, instead we were constantly battling the cold air that was blowing in every time they would come in/out. The doors kept constantly slinging open and every time would come roughly a foot from our table. There were constantly people hovering and standing around us waiting to go in and out. Very annoying and uncomfortable to enjoy. We asked immediately if they had another table and they told us we would have to wait longer if we wanted one. Already annoyed by the long wait, we thought we would tough it out. Big mistake on our part. The menu is all over the place. It appears to be very amateurish in preparation with random ingredients put together to make up dishes. Especially the specials, they look like they are ingredients about to go bad so they decided to throw those together and pretend it was something unique. I ordered the stuffed French toast and they brought me pancakes. So had to wait even longer for them to bring my correct order while the person I was with finished his food because it would have gone cold if he waited since we were right by the door. Overall, not a great experience once again and don’t see myself returning here unless they greatly improve.

Delicious brunch and great experience! Definitely use no wait app, it’ll save you a lot of time because there’s almost always a 45 – 60 min wait, even with 2 people. The space is tight but it’s a local favorite and the food is always worth it, if you don’t mind an hour or two of claustrophobia. They have been pretty consistent in quality for me so I like to bring friends to sabrinas. My only issue the wobbly tables — drove me nuts trying to cut my food, but our server did her best to fix the situation so I appreciated her efforts. The eggs benedict — add some avocado, tomato and bacon and it’s fabulous. My griefs huevos rancheros also looked amazing! Add la colombe coffee and you’ll be happy! Portions are bigger than perceive so be careful :)

The décor is quaint at Sabrina’s, giving you the feeling of being at grandma’s house for brunch. The portions are huge, especially the stuffed French toast. Brunch here can feed you for an entire day if you take the leftovers home. You can’t go wrong with any of the typical breakfast meals or breakfast sandwiches. The only exception is the pancakes. Too thick and very disappointing. The service was not good the last time I was there. The waitress didn’t remember our entire order and was MIA whenever we needed something. Sabrina’s need to do better when it comes to service.

Blah blah blah stuffed french toast blah blah blah delicious and filling blah blah blah it was absolutely massive. Seriously though, the other reviews mention the stuffed challah for a reason. It lives up to the hype and I thought I was having desert for breakfast(not a bad thing). My girlfriend had an omelette with lox. I didn’t try it but she seemed to enjoy it. Her home fries were AMAZING though — I was very jealous. If I had one criticism, I would say it was that their chosen brand English Breakfast Tea isn’t very strong. I had to ask for two teabags and I still felt like the tea was weak. Just keep it simple guys and go for PG Tips or Tetley. If you have to go «posh», Twinings is good too.

Very low key, comfort food place. Download the NoWait app and you actually won’t have to wait(but you must be in a 10 mile radius) All the other reviews have really said all the things I would’ve mentioned myself. Just remember to bring a bottle of your favorite champagne — they’ll bring out some ice to keep it chilled and provide the OJ.

I’ve always heard amazing things about the french toast at this place, but have never made it in until recently. We didn’t have to wait too long, despite being on a holiday morning. I ordered the brunch special stuffed french toast. Now, I usually don’t like sweets for breakfast/brunch, but this thing was out of this world! AMAZING! Yes, it was heavy, and sweet, and kinda sickening after 5 bites, BUTWORTHIT! I ended up splitting half, so it was bearable. Highly recommend, and prepare for your life to change!

Friends and I were passing through Philly on our way back to NYC, so of course we had to stop by for some brunch. TIP: download the«NoWait» app on your phone and get in line without showing up at the restaurant. I did this when we were about 15 mins away(you must be within a 10 mile radius first) and were seated 5 mins after showing up at the restaurant. It would have been a 30+ minute wait otherwise. Although the dining area was small, they do have a separate waiting room so you aren’t stuck in the cold. Portion sizes here are HUGE. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, which was one of the best brunch dishes I’ve ever had. The chili was perfectly seasoned and paired well with the eggs and blue corn tortillas. I also highly recommend the stuffed French toast. They do have specials which are usually themed — it was Star Wars when we went, super cute. Service could have been a bit more attentive but the food came out promptly. I will be dreaming about those Huevos for a long time coming and would definitely come by again when in the area!

We were recommended this spot by locals which is always a good sign. The portions are beyond healthy and the food is uniquely delicious. That staff was checking in constantly and toping off our coffee non stop. You have to check out this spot. We had the Poultrygeist and the Stuffed French Toast which were both life altering(Not a Joke). Their menu is creative and blends flavors unlike I’ve ever seen. Do it!

Sabrina’s café caught my attention due to the consistently high Unilocal ratings and reviews. After a late night and on a cold morning, we searched the city, navigating past the roadblocks for the Philadelphia Marathon and the poor souls who were running in the hard 47 degree morning instead of guzzling coffee over grits like we did. Parking is hard to come by in the neighborhood, so plan your walk or route accordingly. We scored a sweet free street parking spot right by Sabrina’s on Christian street. After checking in with the hostess next door to Sabrina’s in a somewhat confusing arrangement, we were told to expect a 15 – 30 min wait for my companion and I to be seated

I’ve waited nearly 8 years of living in Philly to finally try out Sabrina’s for brunch, mainly because every time I was in the mood it was a Saturday/Sunday and I personally don’t think any food is worth an hour to hour and a half wait while severely hungover… regardless of how good it may be. With that said, my family visited Thursday into Friday and I wanted to bring them somewhere that had quality brunch at around 12:30 on Friday afternoon and most places in Philly don’t offer Friday brunch except here. Plus the added bonus of having a South Philly location meant I didn’t have to venture all the way up to the Art Museum area. We had NO wait on Friday, which was great cause we were super starving. We got a table right in front area. The place is TINY, but from the looks of it, I think there may be a back room. My back was practically on top of the coffee machine but it didn’t spoil the mood. It’s really cute inside with a charming, antique vibe. For 4 people, the bill was only $ 55 which isn’t too bad-not diner prices– but also better quality than diner food. Plus we left really full. I opted for breakfast and got scrambled eggs with cheese with hashbrowns, scrapple and multigrain toast. Everything was on point. I know it’s just breakfast… but the hash was nice and crispy and had caramelized onions and the eggs were fluffy. The scrapple was cooked perfectly, too. The other people I was with got lunch and were all pleased with their dishes-the soup/salad/sandwich combos looked delicious and the special Thanksgiving burger was unique and tasty. The service wasn’t bad– efficient– but not super friendly, either. Kinda felt like we were inconveniencing them for being there. My orange juice was like $ 4.00 and some of the breakfast dishes seemed pricy but overall, the portions, freshness, and quality definitely justify this. I spotted another table’s challah french toast and huevos rancheros and I’m kicking myself for not ordering them– it looked amazing. I’ll definitely be back here to try some other menu items(but definitely not on the weekend with the crazy wait times).

Ugh, Sabrinas… you let me down so. After being told we had a 30 minute wait, we were seated 50 minutes later(so already I was irritable). This is a pet peeve of mine… if the wait is 50 minutes, just be honest! I understand sometimes it is difficult to judge, but when we requested there were 2 large parties in front of us and the hostess should have had a more realistic time frame! I was really underwhelmed by their menu. Most of their options I can cook myself(really basic omlettes, pancakes.). Nothing stood out for me, particularly because I do not enjoy mexican food and quite a few of their dishes are mexican based. Additionally, their specials menu always confuses me. It seems like they take everything going bad in the kitchen and throw it on a plate. I am talking like pancakes with fried eggs, chorizo sauce, papaya and peppers all on one«scramble»…sounds more like my garbage disposal than a breakfast special! I setteld on Blueberry Pancakes but I was denied. The kitchen had run out of blueberries, sigh. Not willing to spend $ 12 – 15 dollars on an egg dish I can easily make in my own home, I got Banana Chocolate Chip(short stack) pancakes instead. They were really underwhelming. Firstly, the fact that they were a short stack is laughable. These were two huge pancakes, and I could not finish them. Secondly, the pancakes were dry and bland, practically crumbly. I am not an expert, but it was certainly not what you would expect from a well-known breakfast joint. Sabrinas, I will not be returning. Your long waits, weird menu and overpriced breakfast junk doesn’t appeal to me. I will be taking my brunching elsewhere.

I was in Philly for a work conference and decided to check this cute breakfast place out. We chose a table outside and sat down to enjoy the beautiful weather. Our server was very friendly and helpful. I went with the regular french toast and some bananas on the side. The french toast was very soft and fluffy. I also requested some jam, which was homemade — it was excellent. I also got a pineapple juice, and it tasted pretty fresh. Overall great breakfast place!

This place was absolutely awesome. The only unfortunate part was that we had to wait about 90 minutes to get seated. However, after having eaten here, I now know what the fuss is about! Service was great, food was spectacular. We sat outside and had a party of 6. I got the whole grain pancakes with bananas and strawberries and a side of turkey sausage. They apparently have 2 main specialties for the breakfast/brunch menu: Both made it to our table. The wife went with the stuffed French toast, my mom got the Huevos Rancheros. They talked about how good they were for multiple days. We’re huge foodies so I don’t give out 5 Stars easily. Two thumbs up for this spot. Go there!!!

Awesome little place! We took my parents here for a quick bite and we all put this on the list of Philly faves! The wait staff was fantastic! They were on top of everything! I had the benedict and the hollandaise sauce was so different than any I had ever had. It was like a cheesy, creamy, little kicky kind of sauce. I dipped all my potatoes in it since it was so good. My dad got the French toast and all three of us were trying to steal bites! It was stuffed with cream cheese and covered in berries! To die for!

If you are ever in Philly,(my favorite foodie city, by the way), you MUST check Sabrina’s café out. They have a handful of locations. The décor was cool & the place was clean. Our waitress was helpful. Sabrina’s was our last meal before leaving and heading back home to Va Beach. My boyfriend had the Bleu Cheese & Bacon Fritatta– OMG, amazing. It was huge, the flavors and stuffing — all of it, just perfect! It’s definitely enough for 2. If not, you’ll definitely have enough to take home for another meal. I had the Huevos Rancheros. Delicious! I should have requested no onions. Everything about our meal was amazing. I wish we lived closer; I guarantee we would be regulars if if we did live in Philly. I already know it’s a «must return to» spot when we visit again. :)

My visit was long overdue, and I have no regrets for not going down there sooner. On a sunny day, I was seated immediately outside at my request. It was 10:00 am, on a beautiful Friday morning. I ordered the Eggs Benedict Florentine: Poached eggs,(substituted spinach with mushrooms,) and hollandaise sauce on a plain, toasted English muffin, with additional avocado and tomato. Very okish eggs benedict, tasted very ordinary. Not a benedict to remember! Frankly, Dear Mrs. Sabrinas, no. I’m not going there anytime soon. Two Unilocal
