The coffe was just avrage, for that *** three stars, but five ***** stars for the service and for the setup! The colors are beautifully balanced and the furniture is first class. They have a Marzocco machine but La Colombe offer beans which are highly toasted. I will just one here just to launge and the service. but unfortunately not for the coffee, in that regard they are just simply avrage. I wish people that invest in a beautiful coffee place like this one, would get not the second popular coffee brand but the coffee beans from one or two of the many local roasters that have amazing coffe.

I stopped in for my lunch break today around 1230 and was wonderfully surprised. Teacup pistachio cake was amazing light and fluffy the hot chocolate was out of this world and served at the perfect temperature The special the turkey corn chowder was delicious as well though it was served a bit hot but it is a minor detail in the grand scheme of things. I really like the fact that things were served on class China and gave a nice feel to the dishes and really made this café more upscale for me not to mention the quality of food definitely put this café over-the-top. I’d take this over a Starbucks any day. There is also a small area in the back set up with computers and such MacBooks to be exact to promote the creative process and I saw various people sitting there working on things.

Great lattes! I stop by frequently on my lunch breaks for a little pick-me-up. They have simple syrup available, which is always a plus in my book.

1. Cute modern café 2. Peaceful and pleasant in the morning 3. How can the creative be integrated into the café component This is a nice place on market street for anyone around this area. Since this area doesn’t have any cafes, it actually has a lot of potential. It can serve as a study space for some students. There’s also a printing service, which is nice. I think that’s where the creative part is, though im wondering how more creativity can be incorporated into the café. For example, maybe having more creative cups or having a creative toy/gadget section. The chai tea I had here was fine. It wasn’t too sweet, which I personally appreciated.

Awesome place in University City — staff are by far the nicest of any coffee shop in the city. Great La Colombe coffee and choice of soups. Highly recommended

Needed to print some work documents for an interview I had on Monday. I was able to upload my needed documents on Sunday and the papers were ready for me that Monday. Granted it was basic B&W – nothing fancy so it took no time. On top of that it only cost me $ 2 for about 14 plus pages. Which isn’t bad at all. I will definitely keep this place in mind for any future print needs

I’m in love with this place. I’m not normally a Unilocaler, but I felt the need to because the previous review doesn’t do it justice and here is why: The baristas here have spoiled me for other coffee shops. Most places have to make 4 shots for a large late, but only give you three. The baristas here *always* ask if I want the fourth shot gratis(and believe me, I do). Soy lattes are my thing, and they make it with perfect foam every time. My roomate’s drink is a Café Olé and she was blown away at the quality of the café olé there. They serve Counter Culture, which I like a lot(deep rich roast, but they carry a lighter roast too). They also carry food from DiBruno Bros so if I’m in for a busy day I can grab a coffee and a salad for later in the AM. The atmosphere is calm and it’s not overrun by students, so it’s a great place for quiet studying or to take a business coffee/lunch and not feel like you’re competing with crowds of loud undergraduates. It’s nice having that option if you’re an adult working in the area.

Here’s the low down: This café will probably benefit the peeps who work in this part of University City more than the students. It has limited seating, so not a great place for students to hunker down and study. Which is what they may be going for. I didn’t see a menu anywhere, and it may be because this place just opened so I had no idea the range of their coffee drinks. They do serve La Colombe coffee and apparently they can make you a cappuccino. They also have sandwiches and salads from Di Bruno Brothers, some greek yogurt, other drinks(including a small tea selection), and some baked goodies like cupcakes and cookies. So none of the food served here is of their own, I think their main schtick is to have decent food and great coffee for peeps who are using their printing services.
