Went there because a friend/co-worker of mine told me they would be showing the Pacquiao/Mayweather fight with a $ 5 cover charge. I called in to verify that the cover charge would only be $ 5 and that they would indeed be showing it, with the knowledge that bars/restaurants have to pay extremely high fees to show pay-per-view. I get there about an hour prior to the main event starting to meet up with some friends who already locked a table down for us. I get inside and see the NBA Playoffs are on on most of the TV screens so I verify they would be showing the fight, knowing the undercard would have been going on at the moment. They claim all the TV’s will have the fight, and I also ask many of the employees if there will be sound… they claim there will be. I walked towards the back to meet with my friends to see they had a projector illegally streaming(not even the HBO/Showtime broadcast, but the UK broadcast!) the undercard without sound. I ask multiple times to different employees if they will have sound once the main event starts and they tell me there will, and that the pay-per-view will be on all the TVs. Fight introduction — still no sound or fight on any of the TV. Fights starts — same. Rounds in — still no sound or fights on all the TVs like we had been promised. So what was the cover charge for? Plus, they were understaffed so the waitresses were often forgot our orders or failed to bring what we ordered at all. At one point, I asked for a Sprite and they brought me an alcoholic beverage(no idea what it was.) Our waitress even looked ashamed when I questioned the service, responding that she normally doesn’t even work there. To me, all that means is that they didn’t get the proper rights to broadcast the fight. From what I’ve heard, that can lead to HUGGGGGGGGGGE fines. Most people were disgruntled and some even asked for refunds to no avail. Will never attend this bar again. Misleading customers to coming and spending our hard earned money and expecting that to be acceptable is utter garbage.

Hidden gem! Fab food. Been several times and never had a bad meal. Best onion soup. Great burger. Excellent quesadilla of the day. Reasonably priced.

This review is entirely for the DJ they bring in on Friday nights. Dude spins the best stuff around and it’s always a great time. I’ll keep going as long as DJ Hennessy is there!

This place is great to stop by for a beer and some food. The buffalo fries are amazing so are the burgers. Great place to just hang and in a very diverse casual comfortable crowd. Pool table, music, good food and friendly faces sounds like a great night to me.

There is always something happening at Redz! A Phillies game on t.v. or an Aardvak poker game on a Sunday afternoon. Maybe just meeting the crowd after work for happy hour or Karaōke on a Wednesday night. A game of darts or a game of pool anytime. It’s just a fun place to be! A friendly crowd and great bar food. A nice wait staff too! Great food and drink specials and two bars and a DJ on the week-ends. And lots of free parking. Enjoyable!

I never knew this place existed, went there for paint nite. Food was very good. Had the calamari and buffalo shrimp for appetizers. Service was good too!

I go to Redz Bar and Grill to play with Aardvark poker on Sundays afternoon and the food is not bad. I had the salad and the fried pickles and even if it was not the best food I ever had, it was what I call decent for bar food. However, the service there is just Bad. Yesterday, I ordered fries and it literally took them over 45 minutes to bring them to me. I was playing so I didn’t realize how long it took but once our break came and I realize I did not have my fries yet, I tried to call up the waitress(she was very busy playing with her phone at a customer table) and maybe 5 minutes later, I got my fries. I am pretty sure they forgot but I really found the waitress attitude unprofessional. I am talking about this one example because this is the most current event that happens to me but I know I have never been satisfied at Redz. Also, don’t buy this Unilocal deal, when I went to pay with it, the waitress was like: «what is this? I don’t know about this» and then I had to wait a good 10 min for the manager to come and she didn’t know either… They ended up taking the deal’s number but I really don’t think 5 dollar was worth the time I spent waiting…

I definitely liked this bar and wouldn’t mind coming back! I came here on a Thursday night, where they have a special everyday which is very appealing to me and my girlfriend. I came at about 9:00 p.m. and the bartender asked me what I wanted just as soon as i sat down. On Thursday, they have 2 $ Twisted Teas, 3 $ You-Call-Its, and 3 $ Fireball shots from 9 – 11. The bartender was very knowledgeable and very generous! My girlfriend and I started drinking Twisted Teas and the bartender asked us if we wanted our drinks on ice; she took the teas and put them in a bucket of ice for us. This was definitely something that I have never had done for me and it really made me feel like drinking and tipping my bartender more. The only reason that I didn’t give 5 stars, was because of the fact that I ordered Buffalo Chicken Fries and they never came, I asked the bartender twice and finally she went back to the kitchen and then told me it was closed. I told her an hour before the kitchen closed, so i never understood why my food didn’t come. Other then that one thing all-in-all it was a great bar and I will return!

Redz has definitely improved since my last visit. First of all, the crowd was definitely better than the horrors that I witnessed previously. There was still a sprinkling of the same Morrell tough guys and girls in way-too-tight jeans, but not enough to be a distraction from the overall atmosphere. This particular night, Wednesday, they had a karaōke contest going on, which was pretty fun to watch. It was well put together by Adam, who I had the pleasure of meeting. There were a ton of people there too, which really blew my mind for a Wednesday night. The specials were good too. They had $ 4 craft beers and 45 cent wings. We wanted to be different, so we tried the garlic parmesan and the thai chili flavors. Both were very tasty. The garlic parm was very garlicky in a very good way. The thai chili was good, a little on the sweet side and lacking in spice for my taste, but I see how this would appeal to most. We also munched on some buffalo chicken fries(my favorite) and quesadillas. My husband got the pork sandwich again and it was really delicious. If nothing else, the food here is super tasty and super consistent. The crowd has improved a lot, service is attentive and they are getting more creative with their events and specials. I’m glad I gave this place another shot, and I will definitely be back.
