Puzzling Adventures

This scavenger hunt was great! I actually learned a lot about hidden tourist attractions in Philly that I hadn’t expected. I moved here recently, so this was a good way to check out the tourist sites I wouldn’t normally have gone to (such as the Independence Visitor Center and Franklin Square). It helped to be somewhat acquainted with the streets (such as quickly discerning whether 4^th Street was east or west of where I was). All in all, these were fun tasks and a good way to explore the historic parts of Old City.

Puzzling Adventures is a new way to visit and learn about the many attractions of historic Philadelphia. It is a combination of a scavenger hunt and guided tour. You simply use any mobile device that has internet access. Through Puzzling Adventures you will receive directions to various points in the city in which you will answer questions or solve puzzles about each location. The clock is ticking as you answer questions so make it a competition between your friends and family all the while learning a vast extent of information about the city’s history. Don’t forget to wear comfortable shoes as you will be doing a lot of walking and make sure your mobile devise is fully charged!
