The food was sublime! Chef John and server Amy are as hospitable as one can imagine. The food has an old world, supremely tasty and savory flavor, and if you are a garlic lover, you will rejoice. The mussels were the best I have ever eaten in my life, as well as the pasta pescatore! I will surely become a regular!

We went here for dinner tonight. This place is a short walk off of Washington or Christian, and it is worth it. This was an amazing meal! We got the antipasto, and it was wonderful! It was covered in an amazing vinaigrette. For dinner we got chicken piccata, and veal alla la serena. Both were fabulous; we practically licked our plates clean. This restaurant is amazing! We will definitely be coming back. Plus, it’s BYOB!

Great food. I loved the carbonara. My friend’s dorado was excellent. Delightful service. Best of all, quiet! We could actually have a conversation.

Stopped in for dinner after two other local places were packed and had the perfect dinner with the family. Great, solid, made to order Italian classics on the menu. The shrimp wrapped in bacon appetizer was awesome and the stuffed pork loin and baked cod specials were, well, special and worth the tough decision to venture off the menu. Service was fantastic and neighborhood-friendly. The ricotta cheesecake was the best we’ve had and the coffee was a perfect strong Italian roast to finish it all off. Don’t miss out by skipping by!

I find the food here terrific. The food is classic and good and I love the atmosphere. The waitress is friendly and perfectly solicitous. It has become a semi-regular BYOB for me and my friends. My friends are all meat-eaters and I am a vegetarian. There wasn’t much for me on the menu, but they made something special for me. Sometimes when that happens I feel like I am imposing on the kitchen, but not here. They were really happy to be able to make something that I liked and the chef came out to check on me. I had eaten breakfast there prior(that’s how I found out about dinner) but I have to say that dinner blows the breakfast out of the water. Excellent.

I was back in the old neighborhood last week with my wife and decided to try this quaint little restaurant in South Philadelphia. The staff were very attentive and polite. Service was excellent and the food was fantastic. The place was very clean. Really there was nothing to complain about. I had the Veal Parmigiana and my wife had the Eggplant Parmigiana. We were both very satisfied. Prices were inexpensive. we are definitely going back.

My office has recently begun to purchase lunch from here. I am found that everything we have ordered has been delicious. I know that Philadelphia is known for their cheese steak, and I’ve had two amazing sandwiches from this restaurant. I would definitely go back again.

Predella is a new breakfast/lunch spot in Bella vista. We originally set out to brunch at Morning Glory but after waiting for 40 minutes we realized we where just too darn hungry to wait so we walked in on a whim. Upon entering this rather small establishment, we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff. The place had a modern diner feel to it. The breakfast menu was small and had your standard breakfast items. If you are looking for those over the top stuffed French toast or those towering red velvet pancakes, this is not the place for you. Everything is standard. I ordered an egg white omelet with roasted peppers, sun dried tomatoes, onions and mozzarella cheese which was pretty good. The home fries on the side smelled funny so I didn’t touch them. My husband ordered a breakfast sandwich. After my omelet, I ordered a short stack of pancakes and the husband ordered a short stack of French toast. He originally wanted a waffle but their machine was down. My pancakes where light and fluffy but towards the middle of the pancakes they started to taste like whatever was cooked on the grill before them. My husbands French toast was ok. The bread was thick like Texas toast. However, they did not saturate the bread in the egg batter. They lightly coated it which just made it taste like a sweet toast. All in all, this place was ok. The staff was amazing but they really need to kick it up a notch with their breakfast menu if they want to survive. They have lots of competition in this area.
