One of the best cigar shops in Philly. Their selection is top notch and the manager, Mike, will set you up with a great smoke. They have plenty of special events, too. A great place to hang out.

Nicest and largest selection in the NorthEast, perhaps in the entire city. Friendly and knowledgeable staff that makes you feel like a longtime friend from the moment you walk in the door. Comfortable, membership free smokers lounge with big screen TV and leather seats. I used to buy my sticks at Holt’s on Townsend Road and the staff never said 2 words to me unless it was my total. I’ll definitely be doing all of my future purchases at Philadelphia Cigar.

these guys carry alot of cigars. you name it, i think they carry it. the humidor is probaly the largest i ever seen, and packed with cigars. the dogs name is, monster too, one of the freindiest rottie’s too greet you. if your in phila give them a call, they know cigar’s.

I’m definitely not a cigar smoker (and definitely not an aficionado), but I give Phila Cigar Co 4-​stars for it’s lovable atmosphere.
You walk in the door, and there’s a giant, bear-​like dog snoozing on a beaten up old leather couch. Across from the animal, two men are playing pool in the middle of the store, and some other guy’s in the corner messing with a pinball machine in the far corner. (Remember, this place is supposed to be a cigar/​tobacco store.)
The majority of the merchandise is back in the walk-​in humidor, which explains the laid back atmosphere of the front room, but the dog — I don’t know what to say about the dog. But I like it. In fact, Phila Cigar Co. probably owes two of its stars to that dog. Great dog. I wonder if all that smoke will affect it’s life span. Do dogs get lung cancer?
