If you are in favor of supporting family owned, local businesses, give Pat’s Place a try. Breakfast all day and they deliver to the Manayunk/Roxborough/East Falls area. Not much better after a late night than having french toast and a sausage egg and cheese hoagie delivered to your door. If you stop by, you will be greeted with laughs and neighborhood banter. Great stop!

Their breakfast sandwiches are amazing! Eating one right now, the 4200! Only down side was the bacon was almost raw. Other then that… bangarang!

I’m pretty new to the area… so while walking around my neighborhood, I saw this place. Walked in and bought a cheese steak hoagie. It was delicious. I’ve only had a few in this area, one of the other places was Dalessandro’s. I thought their cheese steak was almost as good. Their meat was pretty delicious, and the only thing was that it was a little soggy from the wetness of the meat… but that was probably because I took it home instead of eating it right away. Really nice owner. For the type of place it is, I’d give it a 4. I mean, relatively it isn’t ever going to compete with the cleanliness or a Michelin star restaurant… but for what it is(quick stop in the neighborhood), it is really good and cheap.

This place is a dirty dump. I went in for a coffee one time and someone in there actually yelled to me that«I don’t belong in their „hood“». The weird couple behind the counter actually laughed at me. I was really surprised and confused at their ignorance and stupidity. My guess it that they could tell that I am new in the neighborhood and they only cater to regulars. Well it’s their loss because I live a block away and would have given them a LOT of business but instead I boycott this place and make sure all my friends and associates do, like it is my job.

Really the best. When you step inside for a quick drink or coffee you see that they actually have steaks and hoagies. But doesn’t everywhere in philly have cheesesteaks, I think hair salons are selling them too now. Anyway, I asked the owner TJ to make me the best and he hand sliced all the meats in front of me to make me the perfect Italian hoagie, ya don’t get that everyday. I sat down at the single table and crushed every inch of the hoagie as I listened to stories of the neighborhood by the owner and his many locals. Can’t find a better Italian or conversation in the hood.
