Food was great! Very hot and fresh! Next time I’ll ask for more duck sauce, also, I had to talk the delivery guy into dialing my intercom so I can get it delivered to my front door(first floor) which was mildly annoying but not a deal breaker. I will order again! Bonus is the food is very affordable.

Maybe it was just what I ordered, but I was disappointed. I ordered tofu and broccoli in garlic sauce, vegetable lo mein and hot and sour soup. They fried the tofu(they didn’t ask and I didn’t specify) which just made a bready gooey mess that came off the tofu. Otherwise the flavor was ok… the soup was better although sweeter than any hot and sour I’ve had. The lo mein was below average. Other people seem to have done better so I may try again.

Awesome Chinese food. Their food always tastes fresh and you get A LOT of food. I haven’t ordered from here in a couple months since I’m on a strict diet, but for anyone in the Chestnut Hill/Mt Airy area looking for really good Chinese, this is your place. I recommend their steamed vegetable dumplings for appetizers.

I would recommend this place. I usually order on Grubhub and the food comes quickly, correctly, and the delivery person is always very nice and friendly. They have never had any issues finding my apartment. I’m allergic to onions and will often ask for ‘no onions’ on some orders in the special instructions, and voila! no onions! The food is always hot and great. Once they gave me a free soda. I’m not sure why, but it was nice! haha

NOTE: This place is cash only. This was the first time I’ve eaten here. My boyfriend and I have had quite the adventure in finding decent Chinese food since we moved to Germantown. This place is 2 miles away so we called only to be told that we were too far away and they didn’t deliver. We actually called back again to speak to the woman, who was quite friendly, to check to see if she actually knew where we were and she said yes, it was too far to deliver. We found that a bit weird but decided to just go pick it up. My boyfriend said the place was nice and the people that worked there were friendly. The food however wasn’t that impressive. Overall, it’s standard Chinese fare with below average flavor. Here are some highlights: Sesame Chicken — fresh, hot, soft, not hard and crunchy with just enough sweetness, however after it cooled off a bit– chunks of it hardened and weren’t chewable White Rice — tasted metallic and old, like it had been pulled off an old box in the back of a shelf — I couldn’t eat it Fried Rice — decent but a bit bland Egg Rolls — just enough crunch, good size, good but still lacking some flavor Crab Rangoon — delicious but the outer corners of the pastry were so hard that I had to break them off before I could eat them Sweet & Sour sauce — standard, sweet, tasted good In a pinch, I might order there again as it’s close by and has friendly people but it’s definitely not my first choice if I’m craving some good Chinese.

When you call the restaurant directly, delivery is super fast. The people are super nice and the food is super hot. I love the Tai Chen Chicken and the fried chicken is the best.(I wish they could deliver beer and the meal would be perfect… but oh well :) But when you order your meal, try the sweet tea. It is surprisingly good and its homemade.

Delivery was surprisingly quick and the food tasted great. I requested special instructions for 3 meals and they got it right. I ordered the General Tso Chicken, Shrimp Lo Mein and a Fried Wing Platter– all of which tasted fresh and piping hot upon delivery. Would definitely recommend.

This is my go-to takeout place. The food is always hot and delicious, and the delivery people are really fast, friendly, and smart enough to find my apartment. The pineapple chicken is amazing!

I tried to order some food, but they hung up on me and said they would call 911 if I called again. I’m really sad because a friend recommended this place to me. He said it was really good.

I love this place. They’re quick and cheap and the food is great each and every time we come here. I love love love that you can order online now and pay for the food with the Unilocal app. Before they only took cash and that would be annoying sometimes. The people are soooo cute and friendly. We come here so many time a month we should all exchange names. Nothing to complain about :)

Edible, but barely. The good news is that I don’t think any Pandas were killed for my order. Sadly, I don’t think any garden was, either. The food is greasy, bland, and strangely metallic tasting. Not sure if this even rates as takeout Chinese. Maybe it’s thow out Chinese? On a positive note, it is very cheap.

This is above average Chinese take out. If you want fancier cuisine try elsewhere. The sesame tofu was terrific and just over $ 4 for the small. The wonton soup had a terrific broth and sturdy, yet tender wontons. If you are in the area and need a quick meal of good tasting Chinese food– this is the place. Very friendly. No tables.

Need to update they do not accept credit cards. Since they don’t I cannot order tonight and thus I cannot give a proper review.

This is my local go to for chinese food when I’m stuck at home with no food around. Food is cheap, and reliable. I can’t say its the best chinese food ever but it meets your basic expectation of chinese food. I wish they would add brown rice options though.

Panda Garden is your average Chinese takeout place. You can’t eat inside, but there are chairs and a TV to entertain you while you wait. They’re pretty fast. The boyfriend and I had BBQ pork and sesame chicken takeout the other night. The BBQ pork was the same as any other place, but the sesame chicken was bland and soggy. We also asked for a side of white rice, which was quite small.

Hmm… maybe my standards for really good Chinese food are too high. This place is merely ok, in my opinion. Things are fried. The sauce is brown. Not that different from a million other Chinese places in the naked city. On the other hand – delivery, which is always a plus.

I haven’t reviewed Panda Garden yet? Well, I will now. Panda Garden has always been my go-to Chinese food in the neighborhood for almost 10 years. They have great, fresh tasting food that’s never too greasy. The menu has a really nice variety of delicious food. I usually go for their boneless ribs or General tsos chicken, both of which are fabulous. I always ask for my food to be extra spicy and they always deliver on my request. And as for soup, they have amazing wonton soup and hot & sour soup, both which I highly recommend. I love too that when you order a combination platter, you always get this nice container of sweet iced tea.
