Grew up going here. Great for Italian produce. Raw olives(in season), prickly pears, artichokes, fennel… and nice people.

Great fruit selections, great group of people helping you out, very friendly. Big olé oranges, fresh vegetables, nice store inside to grab extras. Lunch meats, bread, almost everything you’ll find in an acme, giant, super fresh, or wherever you would go they have. Best thing is the prices that can’t be beat, freshness of the product, along with the staff. Bring cash cause I was«that guy«who broke out the card when it was posted cash only. Now every time we are down here this is another great location to load up on fresh fruit and so forth. For $ 16.00 I had 5 full bags of fruits, and veggies to bring home. Here it is … an invite, so come over the house you’ll enjoy the tortillas, with the corn meal to make tamales we bought from San Roman a few doors away, along with the fresh fruits to make pies. Well I hope she makes pies out of them, if not I have great liquors to mix it up with the fruit. Great experience, happy to have saved money with more visits to come.

Love this place. They always have whatever you need! Veggies, milk, eggs, lunch meat, bread… you name it! The staff is very friendly and the food is CHEAP. I’ve spent $ 10 on fruits and veggies for a week! Skip the grocery store and get whatever you need here! You’ll save money and have fresh food. I am always sure to hit this spot when I am in the Italian Market.

I really don’t hand out 5 stars without feeling like a business has really EARNED it, but let me tell you… Giordano Produce has earned it! I stop here every Saturday morning and I can only say GREAT things about the quality and prices. Fresh produce, herbs, and awesome prices. Inside they have a deli, small cheese counter, and some meat.

If you have $ 5 left to your name, go to Giordano’s and get two pounds of button mushrooms, three apples, a bunch of grapes, a couple lemons, a pound of peanuts, fresh herbs, a bag of potatoes, bananas, one onion, a squash, and four cucumbers. Okay, it’s not that cheap. Given their proximity to my home and the other options I face(i.e. Acme or riding my bike in two feet of snow to the Reading Terminal Market), Giordano’s is my favorite place for fresh produce. The dudes always seem to remember me and pick out the good stuff when I can’t reach. It makes me happy. Giordano’s makes me happy.
