This dry cleaners did an excellent job repairing a torn dress — completely unnoticeable repair! Their dry cleaning is great as well.

I moved away from Old City about 2 years ago but I still use her — she really is the best in the area for both dry cleaning and tailoring. A bit pricier than other places in the area but worth it.

This has been my drycleaner and source for alterations since I moved to Old City in 2007. The owner is very cheerful and friendly, the clothes come out looking«like new» and they take time to cover special buttons so that these are not damaged by the chemicals. I’ve also had clothing altered, and they do a careful job. Once I needed small hole in a seam repaired and they did it right there and for free. I’ve also taken heavier items like duvets(one was a super heavy velvet), and these come out beautifully as well. I have nothing bad to say and I’m glad that I’ve found a trustworthy drycleaner 2 ½ blocks from my house. Tip: Bring cash.

Always quick and they do a great job with small alterations, but I took my service dress blue uniform to them and they weren’t able to sew on my rank correctly. It was messy and they were scared to open up the sleeve.

This is my go-to cleaner in the city. I was in a bit of a time crunch, and I needed a suit altered. I also had a few shirts that needed to be cleaned as well. The lady was super accomodating and got all my things on time(I actually came in a few minutes after closing) for my interview. I really think that the prices are reasonable; it is not much more expensive than Chinatown, actually. The place is really clean and the old furniture and machines are charming.

A very friendly Korean family runs this semi-upscale cleaners. They always have my clothes ready when promised and the prices are fair for the area. I’ve heard that they do great alterations as well.

Old City Cleaners is clean, the woman who runs it is incredibly friendly, and they do a great job with dry cleaning, plus an AMAZING job with tailoring clothes. I brought a dress in that was a size too big and had to be taken in… I thought this was a long shot bc it was a trendy crazy asymmetrical dress with a poofy skirt… but she knew exactly how to take all the parts in; I’m so happy with the results. Also I did this super last minute and asked for it to be ready in the next 2 days — and it was! She didn’t seem stressed or annoyed that I was asking for a rush job. My husband also brought in a vest from a 3 piece suit to be taken in and again, she knew exactly where and how to pull it in so that it fits him perfectly. I will definitely be bringing all of my things to be tailored to this place.(Oh, and they have a mug full of fun-sized Snickers by the register, which always helps improve my day.)

The staff here is super friendly. I dropped off a ridiculous amount of stuff(I think I had 7 pants and 5 sweaters) over the weekend, and they were ready for me Wednesday despite the lovely blizzard coming our way. Fairly priced, especially for Old City, I’m sure they will be getting a lot of business from me. I do wish they had some kind of deal though, like drop off stuff on Tuesdays, get 15% off. I can dream…

I just want to hug the woman who runs this new dry cleaning/tailoring business on the corner of 3rd and Vine. She is just so friendly! Even when I just pass by she waves at me through the window. And today when I dropped off my dry cleaning I got a free flint roller as a holiday gift. When in the future I’m lint free, I’ll think of you Old City Cleaners. The quality of the dry cleaning is good, and the tailoring(I had jeans hemmed — original hem) was excellent work as well. Also, they have an adorable tailor– themed window display. I believe the prices are decent but don’t have a lot of experience price comparing in this field. There is also a slight«valued customer discount.» Not sure what I did to deserve that but I will take it! For 8 shirts, 1 suit(woman’s), 1 pleated skirt, and 3 pairs of pants the total was $ 44.25 — w/valued customer discount $ 41.22. I dropped them off this morning and they’ll be ready tomorrow evening. This shop is open 7AM to 7PM on weekdays. It opens a later later and closes a little earlier on Saturdays. Closed Sundays.
