Oh Sugar! Bake Shop

My fiancé and I were looking for a hip, local cake for our wedding. We didn’t have a mint to spend, and we also wanted to support a startup cakery.
We found Oh Sugar! Bakery simply by googling «wedding cakes.» We could tell this was the sort of operation we were interested in working with.
This is a so much to like about Oh Sugar!, I don’t even know where to start. Well, yes I do. Elisabeth, the proprietor, is a wonderful, cool lady. She came to our house for our initial consultation and tasting. She worked with us on a 3-​tiered, pumpkin flavored cake. It was just super easy.
Oh yea, I said «pumpkin.» Oh Sugar!, unlike most cakeries, actually makes tasty cakes. Besides the standard vanilla, chocolate and marble, we had a few other options, including spice cake and pumpkin. Furthermore, the icings are tasty and cream cheese based. YUM!!!
The business side of things were awesome too. Everything was done electronically through paypal. How simple! Imagine that: a bakery operating in the 21^st century.
If I had a single criticism, it would be that the cake was TOO good. Indeed, we barely had enough to feed all of our guests, they loved it so much. I couldn’t even count on two hands how many people came up to me telling this was the best tasting wedding cake they ever had.
