As soon as I came in she started my hair. It did not take long and she didn’t burn my scalp as most Dominican salons do. I paid $ 40 but I’m sure they have discounted days. Very nice I do recommend this salon

This seems to be a salon acquired by new owners. It’s relatively small. There’s only one stylist for women and one barber. The stylist did a great job washing my hair and blow drying. Unlike most Dominican salons, my scalp isn’t sore from the overly hot dryer and pulling of the brush through my hair. I was able to walk in and go straight to the wash bowl. The stylist is also pretty fluent in English. Overall, service was good and I’ll return again when I need a last minute wash and curl.
So apparently, this used to be Ofelia’s and is now a new Dominican Salon. Ofelia’s has moved up Torresdale Ave, closer to Vankirk St.
