Momentary Ink

Obsessed with this. I needed tattoos for a play I designed. It was important that it looked realistic and was easy to apply. It looks so great! Beyond that, their costumer service was so easy to get in touch with, fast to respond, and SO friendly and helpful. Zac helped me and he was so great and accommodating! Been waiting for weeks. When I asked they created a shipping label but it still hasn’t shipped weeks later.
I understand if they are swamped, they just got huge press. But I was hoping for better communication.

Sounds like a great idea right? Well, Momentary Ink basically stole my money. This is not a reputable company. I ordered from them over a month ago. I received a tracking number but when I tried to track the package, it said label was created. Period. Nothing further. I emailed the company multiple times. No reply. I called the «customer service» number multiple times and left messages. No response.
It has been about six weeks now. I am sure my money is gone but I’m writing this so other people don’t get scammed as well. Beware.
Unilocal won’t let me give zero stars but that’s what this company deserves.

So after complaining they sent me a picture of the package saying it was on it way. I got the package but it was incomplete. I followed the instructions, put the tattoo on and when I go to look for the blue sealant, it was missing, they forgot to pack one. I am guessing in their rush to send my already delayed package they did not check what they packed.
Try to finish with what I had but then the pink solution which is in a glass container broke and when I opened the bag the glass was all over my sink. Sadly cut myself cleaning the glass but why not. Now I am not sure if the tattoo will hold or if I will even get a refund.
I know this is a young company but until they change their management and come with a full-​refund guarantee I suggest avoid at all cost! If you get to their website, close the page and pick a book to read.

I was always leery of getting a tattoo, I am on the conservative side when comes to things like this. But I also wanted something that I could have to remember my son who past away at 19. I thought long about a tattoo but did not know what or how to proceed. I just loved working with Momentary Ink, and the follow up they gave me was something I was not expecting. Several people have ask for the information on Momentary Ink so they too can try before you buy! It is just an awesome concept and as realistic as you can get.

I have been wanting a big piece for a while and when I saw the opportunity to proceed with the process without having to commit for a lifetime, I was in 110%. This experience allowed me to have the tattoo of my dreams, while not having to live with the consequences of it if it was not something I liked. I worked every day with my artist (Tim Teague) until the piece I envisioned was perfected and to my liking. I loved that I only had to pay 50% upfront until the finished product was complete, and the option of if I did not end up liking it in the end, was guaranteed 100% of my money back! I absolutely LOVED the the finished product!!! I received so many compliments on it, even to the point of asking if it «hurt». I willingly admitted right away it was not real and it was in fact a temporary. People were amazed at how real and beautifully detailed the art work turned out. I was ecstatic to be able to share Imaginary Inks information so others could share in this amazing experience. I highly recommend this to anyone who is trying to decide if they want a permanent image on their body! Thank you again, Tim, and the team of Imaginary Ink! You are all absolutely amazing!
