I saw the waitress drop some fries on the floor and serve it to a customer wow! frozen pizza tases a million times better then this garbage. I should have listened to other reviews. Stay far far away from this garbage more like the Pitts then the Mix

Just went into Mix to get a(take-out) bowl of their vegetarian chili. It sounded so good, with tortillas and guac. Got back to my office, really looking forward to lunch. Bottomline: no tortilla, no guac, and the chili itself was almost inetible… strong metallic taste as if it had been sitting in a metal pot for a long time. Such a shame as this place is very convenient to my place of work.

Love the pizza, salads and sandwiches at Mix. This is my favorite neighborhood place for a drink and bite to eat!

Me and my girlfriend just ate here and we’re from Baltimore Maryland. We came to philly for a little getaway and it was really good food. The Cesar salad was fantastic with the garlic knots. The pizza was good, a little too much sauce just it was fine.

I’ve eaten here twice recently, once with friends at a brunch and most recently tonight with my friend who I highly recommended Mix to because I had a great time there. Thus far, I’ve tried the Capri and BBQ Chicken pizzas, I’m a bit torn as to which I like better. I got a few garlic knots with marinara sauce and my friend split a huge piece of chocolate fudge cake with me, very rich but yummy! The waitresses were friendly and helpful, and split our check into 2 checks which was great. I think I’ll try ordering delivery from them when I want to stay in and I’ll be back with friends, fun place, really great pizza!

Go anywhere else! The waitress is very pushy and quite uneducated at that! Terrible sales techniques led to confusion and ultimately frustration! The pizza was old. The sauce was cold. They garnished the broccoli soup with a handful of red pepper and never asked if I was allergic.

This is our go-to place for nights we want to go out but want to keep it casual. Food is excellent — far better quality than you’d expect from a corner pizza joint: Fantastic pizza, very good pasta options, plenty of healthy options like salads and an amazing hummus platter. Happy hour specials are VERY reasonable $ 4 for wine, $ 3 for beer. We usually sit outside, but inside is cozy and has several TVs if you want to catch a game. Service staff has been amazingly good to us: Always friendly, helpful and attentive.

Great wood-fired pizza. Menu options and types of pizza were awesome. Great crust, many types of toppings. Creative, gourmet slices. Beer and pasta choices were nice. They stay open late, 12? And I think deliver as well. A must-try pizza. Update: food poisoning. Called. Did not receive a call back from management. Will be avoiding this place from now on.

Delicious! They offer a whole wheat pizza option too, which I liked. Highly recommend this place!

I’m new to the area and ate here because it smelled good and had nice outdoor seating. I really wasn’t impressed by the pizza at all. I ordered buffalo chicken and the chicken was basically gray cubes and it looked and tasted pretty gross, I actually decided to pick it off because it was that bad. The buffalo sauce and ranch was my favorite part. I did like the thin crispy crust, and our waitress was really good. Will probably explore other options before returning.

This place was really good. i had a pasta dish and it was delicious. The wings are REALLLYYY good, meaty & crispy. The service was a bit slow and chaotic because 2 waiters called out as well as a chef, but they totally handled it. The owner, or what seemed to be the owner? He was super cool and personally asked how our meal was. & he had AWESOME hair… That earned a full star in itself. There was one blonde waitress who was a total cunt and was giving customers majorr attitude. Overall, i would totally go there again but avoid the asshole blonde waitress

I went here for lunch today with a few of my coworkers after another coworker recommended it. We decided to order mozzarella sticks and a margarita pizza and Buffalo chicken pizza. We all enjoyed everything! I by far thought the buffalo chicken pizza was the best — and the common consensus at our table was that their buffalo sauce is delicious. The pizza was crispy and you could tell it was properly cooked in the brick oven. The mozzarella sticks were amazing. Super cheesy but not overly breaded. Although I wish they had a big order since there was 4 of us. The service was prompt and our waitress was polite and attentive. Prices and food options were also fair. All in all — can’t wait to go back and try other things!

Really great place. Came here with my bestie after seeing the mutter museum and it was all very tasty. We’re New Yorkers so the three dollar mimosas and bloody Mary’s was quite refreshing. We had the cheesesteak and pepperoni pizza for share and everything was cooked well. Definitely worth trying.

At $ 2.25 a slice, it was the right price for a plain slice, but last night I paid $ 2.75 for the plain slice. This just isn’t worth it. You guys need to put a little more cheese on your pizza. It used to be so good!

Went with a large group of coworkers right at lunch time. Although they were obviously busy, the service was quick, attentive, and accurate. We ordered 4 large pizzas — they should be called Extra Extra Large pizzas. They’re absolutely huge, and it was way too much food for the 12 or so of us who were present. 3 of the 4 were delicious — the famous, the buffalo chicken, and the white spinach. However, the philly cheesesteak was really bland. I’ll definitely be back, but I’ll will be for the white spinach which we all agreed was unbelievably good!

I’m not really sure where to begin with this place. My boyfriend and I called in an order for pickup. Arrived at at the corner of 21st and Chestnut to what seemed like a really popular pizza place. I was looking forward to what was to be a really good slice of pie. We opened the door for the waitress that was flying around the tables(didn’t say thank you… ok rude –1 star) and go up to the cashier who also wanted nothing to do with us. Brushed it off and returned home with our $ 20 large half buffalo chicken and chalanga pizza. To my dismay, the toppings were pretty unevenly distributed. Some pieces were completely neglected with any chicken or chorizo and there were bald spots near the crust! I paid 20 bucks for this? The buffalo chicken was good but pretty much was an abstract painting of Frank’s red hot and marzetti blue cheese dressing with sprinkles of chopped up chicken breast. The chalanga claimed it had refried beans, but was difficult to find aka probably not there. Still eagerly searching for the best pizza in center city as a result.

We’ve stopped by to sit outside in the patio with my furry child once. Another time, we came to this place to watch the final World Cup match. Inside it was hot but the food and service was really spectacular. The service is so wonderful that they served my puppy water first before taking my order! They were so sweet and accommodating. Will be returning to this restaurant quite often, I presume.

We picked up a 12″ pizza and a salad to share for dinner. The Greek Salad was OK, a bit sparse on non-lettuce items but it’s a pretty difficult to screw up dish. The pizza had onions, mushrooms, roasted red peppers, and olives on it. It tasted good, but the crust was a bit too thin and soggy for my taste. Overall, though, it was a solid place to get takeout when you need to. We waited probably 10 minutes for our food to be ready. The total price seemed a couple of bucks high for what we got. They also seem to have good drink specials for happy hour and brunch(though $ 3 a cocktail for brunch in a BYO city might not actually be so great? I don’t know).
