Such a good deal for good food. Love the buffalo chicken cheesesteak with your classic Arctic Splash tea. Sometimes dangerous that I live nearby a place with such a large selection of sodas and packaged cupcakes.

Visited based on Unilocal reviews and was pleased. It was a short walk to an amazing breakfast sandwich. It a friendly neighborhood store with everything you could ever want. I looked around with the wonderment of a kid at Disneyland at all of the items they have. Truly a convenience store. The best part– the fresh food served in giant portions. Twice as much eggs and bacon as a fast food breakfast sandwich and the deliciousness that can only come from freshly made food that isn’t made with a pre-​formed puck thrown in a convection oven. Can’t wait to go back for a hoagie…

It’s so dangerous for my waistline that this place is down the street from me. Prices are unreal. Burgers and hoagies are delicious. Breakfast sandwiches cannot be beat. It is embarrassing how much I eat here and a running joke with my roommates. I cannot help it. I get hungry just thinking about this place.

Lentil sausage & peppers sandwich with prostate-​flicking fries (I almost typed «thighs.»)
A Russian River beer (I chose «Salvation» — perfect bold dark, not too sour.)
Waitress = awesome!

ahhhh… the corner store near my boyfriend’s house… what a hidden gem!
we like to get our huge coffees and morning hashbrowns here. their breakfast sandwiches are pretty amazing too (though I’m sure calorie loaded… they butter their bagels/bread…but hey I won’t complain). hoagies are a good size and fresh tasting, the people who work behind the counter are surprisingly nice, they have a big selection of beverages. Everything else is your usual corner store fare.
and seriously… the prices! the prices are great! this is the place to get someone to make you a quick meal on a dime and your stomach will thank you (not yell at you) later.

Remembering back to the good olé days. Memphis market is one of those places. You can get just about everything you want to eat fast and excellent pricing.
Porkroll n cheese and a soda under $ 4.00. Service is fast and the employees are neighborhood friends.

One cannot truly understand the beauty of Philadelphia without experiencing Memphis Market and Grill. The delicate taste of the purest of perfections is reason enough to endure life. Divinity incarnate would simply attempt to mimic Memphis Market, but would fall short as did the allied force of Thebes and Athens to Philip II during the Battle of Chaeronea.

I’m so grateful this is a few blocks from my house.
I randomly went in here one day when I was hungover to try and get something to drink and praying they had some food. I REALLY lucked out.
It was about 10am on a Saturday and there were a bunch of people in there getting breakfast. I ordered a sausage, egg and cheese (SO cheap too!) and grabbed an orange juice. about 5 minutes later I was handed a really heavy container and I had pre-​paid, so I went home.
The sandwich was the size of my freakin head and SO. GOOD. I’ve gone back and it’s the same results every time. Awesome food, very fast service, VERY friendly service and really cheap for how much food you get.
You wish you had this place in your neighborhood.

When you bring up in casual conversation, neighborhood corner stores that truly get it, Memphis Meat Market should be the three words that come to mind. Truly an industry standard, the deli specials and low prices make this place indelible and give it longevity in a time when small business delis are being eradicated by chain food suppliers. The workers are neighborhood guys and truly give you a sense of what fishtown is all about. Try a pizza steak with the extra cheese fries, and think back to your childhood as you slip into nostalgia.

5 stars for the quality of their sandwiches alone. roast beef hoagie/​sub; bacon, egg, cheese on a kaiser; and everything in between… this is where you get it. period.
