This is a BYOB and I don’t prefer to drink wine, so I brought a bottle of Maker’s Mark. I drink it on the rocks and when I poured myself one, a couple of people decided they’d order cokes and put some bourbon in it. I poured for whoever wanted it and then replaced it in my bag. We were a party of ten and the table was already lacking for real estate. Minutes later, our young server scolded me and confiscated my bottle. She was incredibly rude and said they would have let me keep it if I wasn’t «trying to hide it». I WASN’T! I’m in my thirties, not some teen sneaking beer in a parking lot! I wanted to leave but it would have been impossible to find another spot for 10 people on a Saturday night with no notice. At the end of the dinner, a manager came out and poured us shots of our own stuff as if he was hooking us up. Thanks.
