«Meh» would describe how I feel about this place perfectly. Definitely not my first choice for late night, but now that Pat’s & Bobby’s just closed there aren’t too many options especially for cheesesteaks. The quality of steak definitely is below average at best. Service is blah and my friends have gotten incorrect orders before, but you just want to get in and get out as quickly as possible because it is a late night joint. They’re definitely preying on all the drunkies that come in, so I can’t blame them for that. I’ll pop in to get a 6-pack but other than that, not worth it for the food.

Best late night food ever! This place gets packed when the bars close so be ready to wait in line. The tinker is a cheesesteak with French fires in it. Not the best cheesesteak obviously but so good after a night if drinking. Have a fried feast of mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers, onion rings, and fries. Honey mustard for dipping. Mmm Not always available but the chicken parm wrap is awesome as well.

It’s a shithole. I cannot be more truthful in that regard, but as I look over it, I can’t help but think«But it’s *our* shithole!» No other place in Manayunk quite does what they do… perhaps for good reason, but they are the only ones nonetheless. It’s dirty. The food is greasy. I honestly don’t know if they pass health inspection. Whenever I’m in a state to go there I rarely care. They give me what I need, when I need it, which usually is something hot, salty and greasy. They have no illusions about what they are, which is probably for the best. I don’t think I’ll ever love the place, but I can’t deny it’s value.

I want Munchies to just be an easy, convenient, «get what I want when I want it» place but it never is. I’ve given it so many shots but it disappoints EVERY time. The food is not bad, but the customer service is absolutely terrible. They never have pizza made except sometimes on Friday and Saturday nights. Tonight, I asked for a buffalo chicken slice and the guy said, «I haven’t gotten to making it yet». It’s a pizza… It takes 15 minutes to prep and cook… Go make the pizza and stop being lazy. The employees always look and act miserable and frankly I don’t think anybody should give them any more money. It’s a waste of property space in a prime location.

The food is good and they make it fast. If you show up after 1:30 am you might have to wait a few minutes to order since theres usually a long line but its worth the wait. As far as getting ripped off that doesnt happen unless you do something stupid like trying to steal something and refuse to pay for it, then you just deserve it. If you do go by definitely get a yunker or trying a slice of the Buffalo chicken pizza and/or BBQ chicken pizza!

Being one of the few places to grab a late night snack on Main Street apparently has its advantages as Main Street Munchies prays on the drunk and stupid! After being dragged here by a friend, I noticed the clerks rip off not one but two obviously drunk kids on their food order. No doubt part of me thought they probably deserved it. When we finally order, they tried to overcharge us as well! Since I could add, they quickly corrected their«accidental» mistake and we left with average quality slices of pizza. I recommend you avoid Munchies at all cost, as I know I will!
