I’ve patronized this truck for years. My usual order is a bacon, egg, and chees sandwich. The bacon is 100% crispy and the eggs are properly beaten, so that the yolk and white are thoroughly mixed. I would sometimes order a cheese hoagie, half provolone, half American, with lettuce, tomato and mayo. My sandwich dinner would really make my evening before class. Also, the large tea was always properly prepared, and I enjoyed that every night for about 5 years. An elderly Asian man cooked most of the food, with the assistance of a younger relative, who dealt with the patrons. They were both very friendly and welcoming; it was a pleasure to see them almost every evening.

Stopped by this truck and found all of the usual stuff. I wish they had something original…

I was actually in the mood for tacos, but Cucina Zapata was closed so I tried out Mai’s which is a couple of trucks down. The prices were very reasonable. I had the shrimp over rice and mixed veggies, and it was only $ 4. The flavor was a little lacking, but it was a generous portion of food especially for the price. It could have used some spicy sauce or even more salt(which is usually unheard of for Asian food).
